I took my two baby kittens here when I first got them. I spent way too much money getting all kinds of tests done on them. One of my kittens got sick. They canceled the apt I made to get him checked out. I made a new apt for him. He got so sick I called them begging for them to see him the day before and I called before they even opened. My kitten died that very day. They did his blood work the first time I brought him in. There is NO reason he should have died if they did their job. They just wanted my money for all these tests and the kicker is my baby was actually sick and he still died due to their neglect. They told me he had gingivitus but kittens dont die from gingivitus. They did his blood work and to this day I dont know why he died hut I bet that blood work would tell me. I still have never seen the bloodwork so I hope none of you have to go through what I went through

I had my 17 yr old kitty in there for diarrhea Dr. Carleton did all these tests on her spent all this money she still couldnt figure out what was wrong with her she just threw her arms up in the air & said she had no idea what wrong with her there was the last 2 times I had her in there I asked them to check her ears because she had been digging at them twice and both times they neglected to check them so I took her to another vet and he checked her ears and told me that she had severe yeast infection in both ears and the vet said that she shouldve been treated along time ago which Dr. Carleton & her staff neglected to do so, come to find out that her ears were causing alot of her diarrhea So if I were you people if you love your pet stay clear of Dr. Carleton & the Colony Animal Hospital

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! We took our cat for an annual check-up. First off, we waited 45 minutes! I cannot believe the wait was that long, and when they addressed the delay, they blamed it on another animal having to come in before us. Very un-business like, if you’re going to make your customers wait 45 minutes, at least give them a heads up, or shuffle around appointments. Second, and probably more important, the way the “assistant” handled our cat was horrific. I have never seen my cat react to anyone as he reacted to this woman, but I am pretty sure it was because she was rough and extremely ungentle with him. So I implore you, if you love and care for your pets, take my advice and avoid this place!

I took my dog there 3 times with skin issue concerns, every time I was told it was food allergies. I spent 3 months trying different foods, bathing her with an antiseptic shampoo like the vet recommended nothing was working. Finally I took her to another vet for a second opinion. They took one look at her said that she had a staph infection, gave me antibiotics and now everything if fine. Will not be using them as my regular vet anymore.

They were so incredibly helpful and nice when I took my dog in who had an abscess. They were quick, extremely friendly and most importantly $400 dollars LESS than other places had quoted us for surgery. Thank you Colony! You guys are wonderful! I will definitely be back!
