I give this 2 stars because the reception staff are great and always helpful. I had to switch to this clinic when I went on Medicaid. My first PCP didnt want to fill my ADHD and depression medications. She made me make an appointment with their counselor and then a second follow-up appointment with herself in order to get my medications refilled, even though I told her I had been taking these same medications for years. She drove me insane with her apparent ignorance and confusion over what to do with the "situation". I thought it was just this one doctor with the issue, but then I switched my son to this clinic and found out this is just the way they do things. His PCP made me go to 4 different appointments with her, the counselor, the psychologist, and herself again, apparently to evaluate whether he could be prescribed ADHD medication. In addition, I provided them with a letter from the neuropsychologist who had diagnosed him with ADHD and records from our previous doctor who had prescribed these medications to my son just over a year ago. In the end, she refused to prescribe the ADHD medication giving the reason that they are just a clinic and she would not be prescribing ADHD medication to children going forward. It was clear they felt the medication (and most likely the mom) was "bad" even though my son has been thoroughly evaluated and diagnosed, and I had told her that my son on medication was happier and accepted by his peers, had fewer injuries in soccer, and got his schoolwork done. Granted, she was probably new, but she knew I had to take both of my kids out of school early for every appointment, and given the records I provided them, I felt they went overboard. The disregard for my time and for all of the previous medical records was absurd. And I have never met doctors as ignorant or judgmental of mental health issues as they were.

This is an updated review. Initially I gave four stars. Despite the scheduled doctor missing an appointment. A psychologist was supposed to consult with me and the MD to determine medication but she did not show. Things happen and I still got some medication so I chalked it up to one of those things. But then I went for a follow up visit and she missed that appointment also. I waited for forty minutes, ten minutes PAST the end of the scheduled appointment. But when they actually show up the actual medical services I have received have been excellent. I have gone four times; general physical and check up, ear infection, stop smoking drug, and anxiety issues. In other words, a wide range of issues. I have been helped by courteous and knowledgeable doctors/practitioners. I like that they have a variety of disciplines. I have seen a Phd, an MD, a Nurse Practitioner and an Naturopathic Physician. Very collaborative setting. They even have nutrition counseling and overall health programs. The front desk staff has always been nice. The building is clean and new looking. Overall, a very good doctors office. I think the low ratings have to do primarily with the appointment scheduling system. I dont think anyone actually answers the phone at the doctors office, it goes to a central call answering service. Wait times can be high but I have never waited on hold for more than a couple of minutes. Maybe I am just calling at slack times? But now I just set up my appointment online and no wait times.

2 stars. I have not been in the office yet for medical attention - however - I did make appointment. Ill update the post after my visit. I did feel the need to write something now. The receptionist was very rude and short with me, sighed multiple times over the phone (sorry for calling? Im sick, I need medicine) and seemingly wanted to argue over the fact there was a doctor I mentioned that no longer works there. Suzanne Laurel. Anyways, she seemed like she hated her job and thats not a good sign. edit: They were unable to locate my insurance. On the very last day to see them I was unable to get any medical attention. (My deductible was already taken care of for the year and would have been free) so I took away a star. No other place has had issues locating my insurance... ever. Very disappointed, will not return.

In the beginning I was very impressed with this office and the cleanliness and reception/waiting area. After going a few times and trying out different doctors I am now looking for a different provider. The doctors I have appointments with were never thorough and never really examined me. I had ongoing pain and every time I would go in they would not examine me. They would sit at the computer and look at me from a distance and take notes. They also were maybe in the room talking to me for at most 10 minutes. I felt like they did not care and I have cried after leaving appointments out of frustration. I am sad to be writing this but Ive given them multiple opportunities to prove me wrong.

I came in for my 6th month exam, which turned out to be a check before the exam. Id been there 4 other times, I thought they should know my dental history by now, and didnt expect not to have a real appointment. Plus, I wasnt told Id have to reachedule for my actual cleaning. I waited 20 minutes for a 10 minute exam (which I was billed for)and then was told to wait to make myy aural cleaning appointment. I waited 20 minutes, nothing. I tried calling while I sat and was put on indefinite hold. After waiting an hour, I left. In summation, I waited 2 hours for a 10 minute look at my teeth yesterday a dental assisant. Never again.

After several bad experiences from coming here, I will be hunting for a new family doctor & dentist. Staff is uncooperative and often rude, its nearly impossible to speak with a receptionist in the dental clinic, and Ive now been to two scheduled appointments where they did nothing at all to address my reason for being there and had me walking out and needing to find someone who will help me competently. Me, my family, and our private insurance, will be going elsewhere from now on.

I went in for a dental emergency, and everything was great. Had that been the only encounter Id given 5 stars, but its not. I was told to make a new patient appointment, but they didnt have any available, and to call on Monday to schedule one. Ive been calling twice a day for over a month. They tell me they dont have any and to try again tomorrow. I call later the same day and they say their gone. It seems like since I dont have an accent I cant get an appointment.

After waiting 10 days for my appointment, the office called 30 mins before my appointment and said they needed to reschedule. Then they put me on hold and after waiting for 10 minutes, I was disconnected. I never received a return call and when I called them back later in the day, they said the next available appointment was 2 weeks later. Bad customer service.

after being given the run-around by several dental groups for having medicaid it was incredibly refreshing to walk into here, be greeted by friendly staff, have them answer all of my questions, and set up an appointment with zero hassle involved covering everything i need. if you are reading this healthpoint, you won yourself a permanent customer.
