Yesterday we had our second visit to Cooley Smiles in Bellevue. It was a family visit for regular check and cleaning. My husband and I met with dental hygienist Jaimie and our daughter met with dental hygienist Judy. Both of them were thoughtful and provided us with exceptional care and dental recommendations. After talking to the doctors, we got the full picture of what should be done and what the price is. Cooley’s staff will contact with our insurance company to get prior approval that our costs will be covered by our insurance plan, so that we could plan our next visits. It looks like everything is very well organized and structured. While making an appointment (a month ago) I mentioned that by the time I come I will be 31-week pregnancy. I did not expect there might be any troubles but they kind of rejected to have me and were trying to reach my OBGYN office. I was surprised … I would suggest doing that in advance. But still I was impressed that they tried to reach my doctor to get his permission for the certain dental procedures. I was about to leave and Jaimie called me to talk about the options they could provide. At that moment, they managed to talk to my OBGYN nurse. I am happy Jaimie made me come back, because I definitely wanted to visit a doctor. I should say about our first visit too. Our 7-year old daughter lost her filling (made in another dentistry clinic) and cooleys managed to schedule an appointment in two day, while usually you have to make it an advance. My daughter required an urgent help and they made everything perfectly. I was surprised how many patients they have, people were coming and coming and girls by the reception desk were very busy. It’s convenient that you could fill all the forms online (if you are a new patient). I like to get their text and e-mail appointment reminders. Thanks for the hand massage, it helped to relax!

OK. I really dont think it gets much better than this place!!! Ive been in twice for cleanings and received an excellent foot massage during the process (HELLO?!!?!? Amazing!!!) And today I had three fillings which I have been avoiding due to high dental anxiety. Well, upon my arrival they informed me they had experienced a glitch in their system and somehow my X-rays from the last time I was there *did not save*!!!! I was, like, seriously on the brink of tears. I started a mild panic and said "I just dont think I can do them again!" But thankfully 2 of the hygienists tag teamed it and got it done super fast for me and literally all I had to do was open my mouth. Then the fillings themselves were nothing short of a fantastic experience, as much as I cant believe Im actually typing that. I cannot get through a dental procedure without nitrous. No one judged me or treated me like a wuss. They explained exactly what was going to happen as they did it, (Since Im fairly new to the office I hadnt had any procedures done there yet.) and they were professional and thorough, ensuring often that I was comfortable and telling me I was doing a "good job". I know it sounds ridiculous, but I really appreciated that hand holding-I realize Im a totally high maintenance dental patient due to my anxiety, but they handled me like a champ. Im so grateful. And sidetone: my kids look forward to a visit to the in-office snack bar when they get their cleanings. Im sold. My large family and I will all be going here!!! You should too. :) (Need I remind you.... the foot massage!!!!!!!) :)

Hello Jamie, Wow!! What a memorable new patient experience you provided yesterday. Having been protesting dental office for 1 year because of the distrust of them attempting to max my annual benefits, I needed to schedule an appointment to get my crown re-cemented. I was glad I scheduled it here. Apparently their was a miss communication between the front office and you when I say my priority is to fix the crown that had fallen out and cleaning is secondary. Instead of pushing back, you listened to my request and promised to do your best, which is all I can ask. Immediately, you set expectation about minimal chatting so you can focus and work quickly. You rally a team of people to help with assessment, look into billing, and assisted the dentist to re-cemented the crown, and able to deep clean half of my mouth. Not only that but you answered all my concerns about previous dental works, reminded me to change toothbrush head, floss more consistently, and finished paying and out the door 2 minutes ahead of our scheduled 1.5 hr appointment! I could not help smiling inside with the 110% effort you put to satisfy a customers need. Dancing in, out, and around the small room and breaking into a little sweat, noticed you dabbing it at the end :) I didnt think you were "running around like a headless chicken" per your comment.Thanks for making it happen Jamie! I have been a Cooley Smiles customer for more than ten years and highly recommend this firm. Theres a lot to be impressed with at Cooley - they regularly upgrade with new technology, they are friendly, and they provide the many extras like provide great snacks :). Today, I also feel motivated to share a story with you: As a young University student (many years ago), I severely chipped my two front-teeth while drinking beer at a bar (I know and ouch!). This means, I periodically need these two teeth re-bonded. Not too long ago, the Cooley team redesigned my teeth and I was not satisfied. I felt the front teeth did not match my full smile. I also did not share my frustration with the team for several appointments. During my most recent check-up, I finally shared that I was disappointed. In minutes, Dr. Brandon Cooley was standing beside me. He listened to my feedback and agreed to redo the bonding on these teeth. Two weeks later, I returned to the office and Dr. Cooley rebuilt the two teeth. The result was terrific. He was patient, listened to me overdoing the pre-service questions, and created two beautiful teeth! I’ve been smiling for two days; happy. Why is this Review a 5? Think about it. As a customer, being listened to by your dentist and correcting situations is as good as it gets. Oh, and better – this was a NO CHARGE service. I highly recommend Cooley Smiles.

I have been coming to Cooley Smiles for quite some time and I would never consider going elsewhere; it took me years of trial and error until I finally found the professionals at Cooley Smiles! It all begins up front with their courteous staff. They operate very efficiently as they quickly check you in and prepare you to be seen by the Cooley dental team. I have to say that every Hygienist that I have had the pleasure of seeing were simply outstanding. I have always been impressed by their kindness, and the confident way they conduct their business, allowing them to be professionally engaging. An outstanding example of such a Hygienist is Megan. I just had a routine cleaning/check-up with Megan who displayed all of the above mentioned. I would highly recommend Cooley Smiles just based on the Hygienist alone, such as Megan! A very competent young lady who patiently answered my questions and provided sound recommendations related to my personal dental care. 5 stars for Megan who is certainly an expert in her difficult field. Not to forget the Cooley brothers, who obviously set the tone for their clinic(s) and provide top dental care. David M. P.
