This facility allowed my stepmother to sit in her own bodily fluids and apparently overlooked her almost comatose state to the point that when my sister called 911 the hospital stated "had she not called-- our stepmother would have died either by the extreme dehydration and/or the severe infection". The administration denies any direct responsibility, they manipulate the patient to sign documents when the patient is obviously not able to make a coherent decision. When the patient cant walk or feed themselves, the staff will place the plate of food across the room on a dresser 5 feet away from the bed....... We have since had one of our family members stay at her bedside and it is amazing how responsive the staff is when you are constantly following up to a nurse call activation! The facility definitely runs on a very thin employee staff. Dont bring your family member to this facility.

Do not work here, and do not bring your family here. My wife just finished putting up with working there for a year, I can honestly say that in that whole year my wife was overworked and underpaid. The staff is very disrespectful and very unorganized. I feel bed for the residents, I think they deserve better. Even though the building just went through a huge staff change, it wasnt enough to make a positive impacked. Theres still terrible staff, and even corporate needs to be changed. I behoove you to continue your job/rehab facility search else where!

If there was a way to rate in with no stars I would. Bremerton Health and Rehab is a horrible place. My Aunt was sent here because of her legs. While she was there she fell out of her bed a couple of times due to the fact that they didnt put any sheets on her bed. She ended up braking one of her ribs and when she asked to go to the doctor to get it looked at they told her she was fine and that she didnt need to go. The reason she finally got to go see a doctor was because she was released. Do NOT send anyone to this place.

Over the holidays we had to place mom in a facility after her heart surgery. It was a very tough decision, but after speaking with her primary care physician and her attending physician at Harrison Hospital we went with Bremerton as they were highly recommended and we were very happy with the care and compassion the staff showed to mom. I would also like to thank Michael the Nursing Director for taking the time talk with us and keep us in the loop about moms progress. Thanks so much for getting mom home safe..

This is by far the worst place that my husband has ever worked. 12 hour shifts 3 aids per massive number of residents on a hall. They overwork their staff and under pay them too. With one nurse during the night for the whole building. They have no a.c. and it gets really hot inside but they wont fix it. They accept residents they arent equiped for with mental diseases that require special training even though the aids receive none. And they have the worst kitchen staff ever.

Im very grateful for the care and compassion all the staff at BHRC showed to my mother. From the nurses (Barb, Wayne) to the C.N.A.s (Mary, Roberto, Robert), Physical therapists (Jay & Staff) to all the support group (Nikki, Crystal, Cat) and many many more that I forgot to name. Everyone was supportive of me and "spoiled" my mother which she loved! Thanks to all - you are all great at your trades." Patti Daughter of Barbara
