I would give ZERO stars if I could. It is sad to see that from current reviews. Things havent changed much. So I feel my story needs to be heard. My experience with this clinic goes back from 1995 to 2007 when I was a client of theirs. They cared for both my dogs. But it was always a battle with these guys and I had to constently challenge them on routine diagnostics and blood test results including getting second opinions. Each time they always had an excuse why they either missed something, or needed to perform more test. But never took responsibility for their mistakes. One of their mistakes and missed diagnosis lead to the death of my Schnauzer. These guys could not read/interpret a simple blood test. Which I challenged and got another second opinion. The result: My dog had Cancer of the Lymphnodes. And these guys not only missed it, but they originally told me that the blood test revealed a vitamin deficiency because of his potasium levels? If VCA Rose Hill caught this during previous blood test, and their were many over a 3 year span when my dog started to become sick, my dogs cancer would have treatable and not have ended the way it did. My advice to current clients or any potential clients. If you love your pet. Dont let these guys treat your pet and take to a reputable vet.

Absolute WORST NIGHTMARE facility... Their only goal is to separate you from your money and make you wait as long as possible. Keep you in the dark and charge you for every second your there. I had 2 dogs with cancer that I brought to this sham of a clinic. They make a bad experience HORRIBLE and un-necessarily horrendously excruciating. My first dog was far past time to put down. The vets were telling me weeks before. Although when I brought her in to be put down they took 6.5 hours made me wait the entire time and then I was so exhausted it was unbelievable. They intentionally made it as long and painful as possible..... and THEY CHARGED ?ME $800.00 for the privelage of being emotionally tortured for hours upon hours. . My second dog had cancer and similar experience. They took the dog and wouldnt return her for hours even though I demanded I wanted to leave. They had a lame excuse about not enough staff. I said Ill go get her. But no I had to wait for hours ... this time I was smart and went to Cottage Lake Vet, they put her to sleep in 20 minutes and charged $120 dollars. NEVER GO TO THIS "VET" unless you like being tortured and spending a fortune for the experience..

Dr. Sorenson has to be the finest vet I have ever had the pleasure to take my sweet dog Tucker to in his 15 years of life. I unfortunately didnt find her until a few months before it was Tuckers time to go. In all of his 15 years Tucker was terrified of the vet and was a nervous wreck in the various offices I had to take him to due to my relocations for work. At Rose Hill, Dr. Sorenson and the girls working there were so sweet and loving to Tucker that he actually relaxed and was happy to go to their office, a first! Dr. Sorenson tried her very best to help Tucker be happy and healthy but he was already running out of time by the time I found her. What she did do was give me a couple of more happy months with my sweet little boy and she and the staff provided the utmost compassion when it was his time to go. I strongly recommend trusting Dr. Sorenson with your beloved pets. She truly does love the animals she treats.

Friendly staff and veterinarians who havent rushed me, explaining things. Expensive as typical, but good service. The assistants and front office staff are Great! Ask them for help if you have questions. I have boarded 2 dogs here, and they were fine and seemed to have a good time time. I have their in house insurance, made teeth cleaning more reasonable and covered the office visit charges ($75/each) for 2 ear infections. Still was 150$ for looking at swab under microscope and bottle of ear cleaner and rx steroid pills. I understand that they must make a profit, but it was quite simple and average family would find the cost difficult. On the plus side, does cover vaccinations. If you need to watch your budget, let them know and hopefully you can reduce amount of testing thats not absolutely necessary and possibly get any Rx from a low cost pharmacy.

I would put 0 stars if I could. First of all terrible customer service, the manager is completely Rude! Our story... almost 6 months ago we took our cat in for a dental cleaning, while checking his ears they accidentally punctured his ear drum, poor cat hasnt been the same since. He has a major head tilt, he shakes and sways still to this day. First they admitted fault now they are taking it back, they are not willing to pay back his pharmacy bills without us signing a release form saying that if anything were to ever happen in the future that they are not liable.. also prohibiting us from bashing the Rose Hill VCA in any way, well screw them Im not signing no release form and I will bash them as much as I want to, I want everyone to beware!! Dont take your pet there unless you want him to come out DAMAGED FOR LIFE. Thats all.

I found Dr. Luddy, Karen, and additional staff to be very helpful and professional during this visit. Dr. Luddy was very attentive and professional. I had taken my canine in for a hip exam and Dr. Luddy was very thorough and gentle with her. She listened to what I had to say and worked with me as a partner in my dogs care. I wanted to make some changes in my pets heartworm and flea control and she was very understanding and cooperative. In addition, the staff honored a last minute request for a nail trim which my dog tolerated well. Karen also set up a home delivery system for the heartworm meds and I came away with the impression that the current staff is interested in meeting their clients needs and expectations. I appreciate the care and attention my companion animal and I received on this visit.

I went in for a simple blood test for my dog. Took them over 1.5 hours and I was charged over twice of what my previous vet in Seattle had charged for the same exact test. The vet barely even glanced at her, and missed several things on the physical exam. She had a lump, poor coat and lacking in muscle tone and he never could find the lump and said she looked "great! with a great coat too!". He barely had his hands on her. The vet tech had to poke my poor dog three times to get blood. I will never go back and recommend no one else go there either. The place is tiny and it stunk. I had to wait 30 minutes just to see the vet, and there wasnt an emergency or any other legit excuse they could give me for their tardiness. Hands down, the absolute worst vet Ive ever set foot in. Avoid!

A truly kind hearted and caring staff. They went above my expectations to make my boyfriend and I happy. We recently got our puppy, Chance in January and started with the Wellness program. A new program at VCA Rose Hill, the staff was not knowledgeable at first on the costs and coverage of the plan. But the staff took the extra time to listen to our concerns and did not charge us when our puppy got into some Easter candy and gave us a chocolate scare. The staff truly cares about their patients and their owners, and were understanding to our financial worries. I would highly recommend VCA Rose Hill Animal Hospital. They are a caring group of individuals and will take exceptional care of any pet.
