What a great experience ! From being greeted by the receptionist to the final visit with Dr. Mihai Aluas, everything was perfect.Very clean facility, friendly welcoming staff, knowledgeable and compassionate doctor.I took in my 8 months old Golden Retriever Cooper, to neuter and the interaction and communication with Dr. Aluas, exceeded my expectation.He kept us informed through out the day about the progress of the procedure and post op recovery, offered us guidance and coached me through a small issue came up after the procedure and followed up with us twice in the following two weeks after surgery.Great bed side manners ! Would highly recommend Dr Mihai Aluas to anyone who is looking for a professional, insightful , compassionate veterinarian for their pets.

The entire staff was very nice and down to earth. Easy to talk to and were very kind to my dog. The clinic was clean, but outdated. We went in as a new client last minute due to my small dog stealing some chicken bones. They did an xray and saw that he did not have a blockage. He was dehydrated from the vomiting and diarrhea though so they gave him fluids, an injection, and a bottle of medication. We were there for a total of 15 minutes, which was nice! But that was also the quickest $350 Ive ever spent. I would return though because the staff was so kind, accommodating to my last minute situation, and quick! They also have a punch card for nail trims which is nice, because we have to do it monthly.

Our family had the pleasure of having Cedar River Animal Hospital care for our dog Scooter. We adopted Scooter back in 2005 and were blessed to have him with us for ten years. All that time his wonderful medical care was provided by Cedar River. The entire staff are amazing in their thoughtfulness and loving nature in which they treat their patients. I can tell you Scooter was always excited when we would put up even if he ended up getting a shot. I have recommended Cedar River to countless people and have had the same response from them, This place is amazing, the people who work there are amazing, and we finally found the right place for our pet.

The vets and staff at Cedar River have kept our senior kitties as healthy as possible, also providing loving, thoughtful and excellent end of life care. Now that weve rescued another fur baby, we do not hesitate to bring her to Cedar River for check-ups and veterinary care as well. The staff is also quite attentive to human animals - meaning they always explain to us the procedures, medicine, tests, surgery, etc. theyre recommending for our pets and what we can do to make their lives more healthy. While some may consider services to be a bit pricey, were fine with whatever it takes to keep our kitty-kids well, and were grateful.

I cannot rave enough about everyone at Cedar River AH. They were so wonderful and compassionate with our two Brussels Griffon and have welcomed our Chihuahua with humor and kindness. They always provide a good chuckle as well. Dr. D and Dr. Nicholas are amazing healthcare providers and so knowledgeable. My dogs presented some challenges over the years that they treated with confidence. Thank you so much for giving me peace of mine with regard to the health and care of my dogs. You really understand how important they are to me and to my family.

We have been taking our 2 dogs to Cedar River Animal Hospital for a few years now and have always had great experiences there with Dr. Nicholas and the whole staff. With Dr. Aluas taking over, we have nothing but wonderful things to say about him. We never feel rushed with him, so we are able to be much better informed about our pups issues! I never feel like Im asking him "dumb" questions. He has such a great demeanor with our girls and you can tell his genuine affection for animals! This is definitely the place we trust for our girls!

The staff at Cedar River are excellent. Dr. Nicholas has been our main vet and he has provided excellent care for our Labrador Lucy for many years. Recently Lucy (14) reached a point where her lifes quality had deteriorated drastically and Dr. Nicholas and his team helped her to pass on with dignity and respect. Our entire family was with her at the time and I can honestly say that it is at that moment that you want professionals who are compassionate and caring. I highly recommend Cedar River Animal Hospital.

Recently they helped us with the loss of our dear cat Whiley. They guided us through the process of doing everything we possibly could to save his life. This business tried to claim that I owed them $64.00 when there was no question that I didnt, and I have backed up my case with written proof. I was critical of their dogged insistence that I owed them money and rather than attempting to contact me, admit that they were in error and attempt to resolve the matter they simply decided to deny any further care to my pets. Very poor business practice to treat an eight year customers animals this way.

These people are great! Both doctors as well of the rest of the staff are always very friendly and I feel comfortable taking my animals to them. My senior cat was recently diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and they were great in helping me through the process and telling me the different treatments avalible. So glad to have such a great vet office in our area! 2/10/2016

We use to bring our pets here. To be turned away with a pet medical emergency is not a way to keep your loyal customers. Had this several times with our pets over the years. They operate by appointment only and book up at least a month in advance. Sorry but we found better locations. Thank you for your short hospitality when we were able to get into the doors.

Dr. Nicholas is the best veterinarian I have ever taken any of my dogs to. His rapport with my dogs shows that he truly loves animals and is a funny and lighthearted person. My dogs gravitated to him like he was a Greenie and neither showed any fear of him at all because of his demeanor. We will continue to be a fan of Cedar River Animal Hospital!
