The best pediatric chiropractor and all around best chiropractor in the area! Having seen chiropractors in the past, I had to find a good pediatric chiropractor for my 9 year old after rear ended in a car accident. Seeing his web page Dr Calcara seemed very gentle and knowledgable. This turned out to be more than true. Not only did he do an AMAZING job with my children, but with his very thorough and medically driven analysis and follow through on achieving results I had to switch to him myself. After 10 years of neck issues, Dr. Rick saw problems that had not been seen previously and were only worsened by the accident. After 3 months of treatment, the results have been amazing. I assumed with my past chiropatric care I was always going to have to deal with some neck pain... Not anymore! Dr. Calcara has not only helped my family but I have become a true believer in what chiropractic care by a knowledgable chiropractor can do. And to top it off the entire staff is wonderful! From a person who was absolutely terrified by the idea of chiropratic care years ago.. Dr. Calcara is the way to go!!! life changing!!!

I have some very complicated and serious back issues and have used chiropractic for over 30 years as needed. I have been going to the same chiropractor in Seattle for 20 years who stretches and adjusts me manually. Wanting to find a provider her in Olympia I tried Calcara. When I called for an appointment I told them what kind of insurance I had and asked if they charged for more for the initial appointment other than for the adjustment. I was told NO. When I met with Dr. Calcara he told me what he would be doing on the first visit and I again questioned the charges and doubted my insurance would cover anything other than the adjustment. He told me that he was sure there would be no problem. He uses a drop table which I explained never has worked for me. I had my first adjustment and felt a slight improvement, went in for a second one and was worse. I just had my third and was presented a bill for $125 saying the insurance didnt cover it. The adjustment did not relief my symptoms so I am out $170 am worse off than before I went in.

Best service I have ever had. From the initial evaluation, I was impressed with how much time Dr. Calcara spends with his patients because he is truly concerned about getting you back into your healthiest stage. I had everything explained thoroughly so that I knew whether I wanted to do a short term relief or look for a more long term relief. I decided with the long term relief so that I could enjoy a healthy mobile body for years to come. After over a decade of wrestling, I was in need of adjustments. I can already feel the difference and look forward to every visit. The whole staff is great and very welcoming. The best thing Ive learned is that being healthy doesnt start and end at the chiropractor but to continue strengthening your core on your own. Thanks for your wonderful service! Brandon D.

I have been to several different Chiropractors over the past 30 years and I have to say that I am so impressed with Calcara Family Chiropractic. Dr. Rick Calcara is the best Chiropractor I have ever been to. He is kind and understanding. His exams were very thorough and he explained everything he was doing during my initial exam. Each time I see him now, he continues to explain what he is doing and why. I had been in pain for 3 weeks. I saw my Medical Doc. I was seen in the emergency room where they shot me up with morphine and then I made an appointment with Rick and with one adjustment my pain was gone! I recommend Calcara Family Chiropractic to anyone looking for the best care available.

My body wouldnt be able to function with out Dr. Calcara! Im able to walk and live pain free or almost pain free when I get adjusted. Dr. Calcara is very gentle and explains the benefits of chiropractic care to me so I can understand fully what is going on. My lower back pain got so severe I began to wonder if something serious was going on and that I may need surgery but after Dr. Calcara scanned my feet and ordered my custom shoe inserts I have been amazed! I have been seeing Dr. Calcara for over 11 years now. Initially I have been dealing with headaches and sinus problems. Always sick when winter comes and after less than a year the headaches are gone. Once l also had my right shoulder pain this one took about three to four treatments, but have resolved. Dr. Calcara is a good doctor whos gentle, caring, compassionate about what he does and listens to his patients. I once worked with a doctor who takes his time with each patient and l think this is more important. Youre one of the best Dr.Calcara. Thanks to you and Phoebe and the rest. My family loves you.

My first Chiropractic visit was when I was 14 after a terrible car accident. The doctors said my spine in my neck had started curving in the totally opposite direction and my back and hips were pretty tramatized. Dr Calcara and his team coupled massage therapy and Chiropractic adjustments to return my body to function. Their caring, sensitive and patient centered attitudes made the experience both physically and emotionally rewarding. Now that I live away from Olympia, I will still visit the office to relieve treatment from their talented team.

Dr. Calcara and staff always go above and beyond the normal. I have multiple myeloma and Dr. Calcara uses a lot of TLC with me because my bones are very fragile. On occasion, when my pain level was very high, he has had me stop by his home to help relieve my pain and stress. I also enjoy the massages and this is another plus to be able to partake of these services in one location. My treatment begins in June, and I will miss my visits with Dr. Calcara for several months. I can recommend him very highly!

When I went to Calcara Family Chiropractic for the first time I felt so welcomed and relaxed as soon as I walked through the door. Everyone there was very accommodating and there was a very good energy. The chiropractor did an exam on me and then called me back a few days later to talk about what he found and set out a plan with me to help keep me healthier. Then I got an adjustment and have been going there for almost a year now. Best choice ever!

I went in for headaches that I have had since 2001 from brain surgery. I got an adjustment from Dr. Calcara and my headache instantly was gone and never came back. I now come in for back adjustments regularly due to my heavy labor job. I limp in and walk out with no pain every time. Dr. Calcara has made my life much so much happier.
