They have a great dr. Too bad you have to get passed the cash grab in the front. They told me if I wanted to save the tooth I needed a root canal. They also said that there is a good chance that the root canal might not work and they would have to extract it anyways. I signed for the root canal that day because they really pushed it on me. I picked up the medication at the pharmacy that I am supposed to take 1 hour before my appointment the next morning. I then decided I didnt want to gamble so much money on a tooth that may end up being pulled anyways. I called and told them I wanted the extraction instead. Then they called me and I confirmed it just the extraction. I then showed up an hour early the next morning. I told them just to make sure that I just wanted the extraction. I asked before Im on medication do I need to sign anything to confirm my decision. The girl behind the counter said no you are fine. I then took the medication. When I returned for the extraction 1 hour later a different lady told me I cant change my treatment. I told her that I said I need a tooth pulled when the appointment was scheduled, I told them I needed to to make a decision about the treatment after the exam, I called and told them my decision, I answered their call and confirmed my decision, and we even double checked before the appointment. Do you hear the words that Im saying. I realize now that this is a cash grab designed to trap you into using up all of your dental coverage and your cash all in one visit. I left after two days of appointments with nothing done except a dental x ray and exams. This place is terrible. Now we are at a different dentist the next day. I just found out that avenue dental will not release the x rays they took two days ago. They refuse to help in any way. This is just another senseless charge to your insurance company they will cheat you out of. They did nothing for us and had us leave, yet still found some way to charge our insurance company for x rays they will never use. Oh yeah and I read the other reviews they are fake. This place is a scam. Do t fall for it.

Having your teeth removed is a dramatic experience in its self and then to be told that the remaining upper teeth you have will also be removed is enough to take your breath away. I felt so at ease knowing that this is something that would be in my best interest. They wanted to do what was best for me and explained the plan of action which was going to take time but it would be alright. I know I will continue to update my review as I undertake the restorative plan for me which I hope will lead to me just smiling without having to keep my mouth closed. Update: 12/30/15, I had the remaining 4 upper teeth removed. I was told I did great. This is amazing as I am the girl that has too many bad experiences with dentist visits. From having work done and the novacaine hadnt work after several shots. At Avenue Dental from very first visit I was at ease. Sadly to say due to Genetics my own teeth no matter how well I tried to take care of them werent going to last. Plan of action is to remove final for upper teeth. I have not smiled with an open mouth in over 2 years. People always asked whats wrong or why are you mad. NOW YOU CANNOT STOP ME FROM SMILING. I HAV A FULL UPPER DENTURE AND HAVE BEEN TOLD IT LOOKS GREAT AND ALSO VERY NATURAL. NOT ONLY DO I SMILE ALOT, DID I SAY ALOT

I called for a quote for a crown after seeing the "special" price on their website. I specifically asked if there would or could be additional charges and was told that the "special" price included everything associated with the crown (ie. consultation, xrays). I made the appointment for on Monday for a Wednesday appointment, which ended up being entered incorrectly into their system, but luckily they had room for me when I showed up. The office appeared to be clean, but run down (The dental chair had numerous rips and tears). The receptionist checked me in and reiterated the amount I was quoted over the phone, which made me relieved that the "special" price was indeed for real. After taking a few xrays, the dr. came in and said that I needed a crown and they would get started as soon as I signed off on the charges. They proceeded to give me a quote for 50% over the "special" price, which I immediately refused to sign. I asked the dental tech why the additional charges were not quoted to me when I called and was told "I wasnt the one who made the appointment." I immediately left feeling ripped off. I wont be returning.

I absolutely love this place. I have not been to the dentist in over 10 years and they made me feel very comfortable and calmed my nerves. They were very nice and welcoming. they call and check up on you after your appointment and are always so friendly in person and over the phone. I got some cavities filled and it was painless. they made sure I was doing good the whole entire time. I am so glad that I choose to go here. I found this place through my insurance and then looked at all the reviews and decided to give it a try. I am so glad that I did. This is definitely the place to go.

My experience was excellent. They are friendly, efficient, and professional. I am an active duty spouse (more than 22 years), and have through my many PCS moves (15)(Fort Carson, Vicenza& Aviano Italy, Ansbach & Wiesbaden Germany, Kentucky, Colorado only to name a few) this office stands amongst the best. A special thank you to "Ashley" who went above and beyond to ensure I received the very best care. The entire staff is to be commended on how well they treat military families. I would highly recommend this office for routine and specialty work (crowns, etc).

0 accountability for their mistakes. Ive tried to contact them a few times and went in finally to get a cap they put in that was hurting my gums examined. Said I needed a root canal on the tooth behind it for $800. Went to another dentist to get that same tooth filled for $90. Thank god I didnt trust their opinion they were only trying to counter the issue (which I still have) with the cap that they messed up on, saying theyd fix that for free, but to address the tooth behind it which they said HAD to have a root canal... Guess it didnt and I saved 700 dollars.

I have been going to Avenue Dental Care for several years, and its always such a pleasant experience, from the assistants in the front, the dental techs, dentists, and especially Robin, the dental hygienist, it makes me smile "brightly" when I leave. Even when I have the need to call, I am always greeted pleasantly. Thanks, Avenue Dental for making my dental experience exceptional and making me want to come back! I especially appreciate the text, email, and phone reminders of appointments. With as busy as most of us are, it sure helps get me there on time!
