Most of the office staff is very nice and try their best to get appointments at your desired times. However the doctors there arent exactly hands on. Dr. Vanderburg and Dr. Alamshahi just want to write prescriptions and not any actual examinations. My boyfriend, my 15 year old son, and I all seen Dr. A, and never once were we ever examined. Even when my son was obviously ill. Didnt check his breathing even after I told him he has asthma. On another occasion, I attempted to see Jeff the "counselor", what a joke. Totally closed off from the get go. Arms folded across his chest, his legs extended and crossed at the ankles. Then proceeded to ask me "why its taken this many years to get help?" in a condescending tone, as if to imply I am lying. Its people like Jeff who have kept me from seeking the help I need. He just isnt very qualified for the position, if he is that close minded. I am taking my family and I somewhere else. They can have great office staff, but that isnt going to make the doctors better.

I joined recently after having a stay at Rideout for follow up and got Dr. D from all the good Ive heard from people about her. Shes been great and her staff couldnt be better. The reception area has usually been pretty busy but I havent stood in line more than a couple minutes. If there are people waiting in line others from the back will open up and get you going fast. Their lab works fast and they are great at what they do and I have yet to meet any of the staff anywhere in that building that isnt friendly. The only complaint I have is there are too many people going in there and too many thatll cough in your face and dont think a thing about it. But thats on the idiots and NOT Ampla.

All the physicians I have met are great so far. However, it is hit and miss with their front desk staff. This morning the dirty blonde at window 4 was incredibly rude. I understand they are busy but to belittle someone for asking if your window is open is down right disrespectful. She wasnt on the phone. She wasnt talking to anyone else she was simply sitting there shuffling papers. She ripped the sign in sheet out of my hand so fast and didnt say a word. Rude as heck. Some others are kind but unfortunately there are others equally rude as she is.

The Olivehurst , Ca could use some better management. One of the caucasian ladies is almost always very disrespectful. No offense but your "Frustrations are not ours" so keep it together please.Understand that to work there the personnel must have work ethics and most important compassion and respect for others . And If they dont show that then they chose the wrong career. The reason why ..People that live in these areas dont mind driving 2 the Yuba City Ampla Express Care, is because of the quality of their Services.

I had a very pleasant experience during my fist appointment here, starting with the receptionist who was very nice, followed by a very wonderful family nurse practitioner who spend a lot of time with me addressing my issues and concerns. I did not expect this at a facility which accepts Medi-Cal patients from past experiences. Great job guys!

Everyone that works here are wonderful. Im always in and out quickly, my Dr is amazing, the nurses are wonderful, and office staff are great.
