I made appointment after I read all the positive reviews right here in google. I brought my family for regular check up since the clinic was close to my home. When I singed up for the check up, I didnt know this clinic was run by couple of hygienists. Because this was exactly what happened to my family. My wife made couple of hours ahead of me and my daughter to see the dentist. My wife never saw the dentist after all the probing and X ray exam because the dentist was too busy to see her. The hygienist told her just coming back in couple of month without further explanation. I came to my appointment with my daughter. Again after they did all the probing and x ray for the exam sitting in exam chair for almost 2 hours, the hygienist told me coming back in two weeks to see the dentist to complete exam and further cleaning because the dentist was running late with other patients. This was our first visit and only person we were talking to was hygienists who were virtually acting dentist of this clinic. When I was about to leave without further appointment after I made complaint to the hygienist, all of sudden the dentist that I supposed to see was show up with chewing gum in mouth. The dentist wasnt aware of my case and have to brief with hygienist. Ive never seen any clinician in my life with this kind of not so good professionalism. But thats not all. The dentist was not talking so I have to ask about the X ray and other exam for details. Whenever I asked about my condition, the response from the dentist was almost robotic as if I was talking to ATM machine. It was very peculiar way of non sympathetic short answer. When I asked whether the condition I got was common for my age, the answer was that couldnt say anything because the dentist didnt know my age. Duh! Again, the dentist did not tell me what they found on my daughter so I had to ask. It turned out my daughter had two cavities but not even the hygienist who took exam on her told me nothing until I force the dentist to see me. I felt neglected by these unconcerned manner by both hygienist and the dentist. If you just rely on the Internet review, please beware all the positive reviews that may turn out just marketing hype or totally bogus review. I was very disappointed by my decision to choose dentist based on the all the reviews since there are literally hundreds dentists around the town.

Review I went to see Dr. Spinelli for my first root canal. A friend from New York recommended him, apparently he was quite the hot shot over there, and now we are lucky enough to have him in Washington. I wanted to see someone I knew would be honest and not try to up sell a bunch of crap to me. This has obviously been an issue for me before, I never know if I can really trust these used car salesman types. Dr. Spinelli was so instantaneously trustworthy, not just based on the recommendations I had heard, but because he explained everything to me as an equal. He explained the necessity of every step without being patronizing or cryptic. He isn’t over-the-top/ fake friendly. He’s a soft spoken guy, warm but not invasive. I appreciated that he didn’t try to have deep conversations with me, or talk at me while my mouth was hanging open! He understood and answered my questions comprehensively, was not dismissive like some professionals can be. I can’t tell you how relieved I am to have found a dentist who can establish this kind of dialog, and respect that I am not a moron, despite having little dental knowledge. The best part of all is that my friend in NY is also a dentist so I was able to double check everything he said-not that I felt like I needed to, but hey why not if you can. It felt so good that it all checked out; My friend reiterated that Dr. Spinelli is someone that I can trust, and that I could relax because I was in good hands. Everything went smoothly, and I will be making the drive down to Federal Way for all my dental needs in the future. Its a bit of a trip from Seattle, but I am willing to drive the 40 mins to get the best care for my teeth (not to mention I am probably saving some money avoiding the scam artist dentists in seattle). When it comes to my health it is definitely worth travelling to feel like I’m in good hands.

I was originally from Ukraine and of course teeth is not the priority there. After I had arrived in the US about 10 years ago, I had realized people here really care about the appearance of their teeth and the health of it. Even though I am only 50 but I had already been wearing an upper denture because I had lost all of my teeth to gum disease. Embarrassing to say, I do smoke for 25 years and now is slowly quitting it. But I am very frustrated with the fit of the denture and I cant taste food so life is no fun. My other Ukrainian friend from church had recommended Dr. Yeh because she had two dental implants placed by him and she loved it! Surprisingly I did not even notice it because it was her two front teeth. They look real and beautiful. I had a consultation with Dr. Yeh and due to my financial limitation, he advised me to just have two dental implant placed on my top jaw and convert my denture to click on to it. But the most important thing I care about is being able to chew and taste food. He told me, he was able to cut some of the palate acrylic off from the denture and that will make me able to taste food because the tissue is exposed and thats where the food tasting sensory are. But I have to say, the process took 6 months to complete. Dr. Yeh is so gentle and pain free. The most important thing is he was able to cut off some palate acrylic off because of the support of the implant that made everything so comfortable and I was able to taste food. The denture is not loose anymore. I especially like Jeremy, because he is a wonderful dental assistant that walked me through everything. it took some adjustment period for me but I love the result! Thank you Dr. Yeh and Jeremy, you guys are great : )

I dont normally do this unless a business completely blows me away. They had to do something extraordinary for me to take the time to log in and tell everyone about my experience. Federal Way Dental passed the test to get me to tell you all! First off, I have seen my share of dentists. More then I would like to admit. I was born with poor teeth. To give you an idea on how poor I must have had 6 root canals and im not even 30 yet. I really try to take care of my teeth but no matter what I do Im always seeing a dentist for some reason or another. Root canals, implants, crowns you name it. Federal Ways dental office was great from the moment I entered. The staff were super friendly and were very nurturing to my fear with dentists. No matter how many times I see a doctor I still freak out. I was in the office today for yet another crown and the experience was a positive one. They had my crown in super fast! I couldnt believe it. The last dentist I saw it took them almost a whole week and I had to walk around with this weird putty that was suppose to look like a tooth. The staff and the doctor left me feeling like there was hope yet for me to have a beautiful doctor. I wanted to take the time to explain how much better these guys are. Take it from someone who has seen a ridiculous amount of dentists in their lifetime.
