Veronica is simply the best physical therapist! I think I had overall 3 appointments over 6 months, but so far she has been the most impactful healthcare provider, in terms of helping my body heal and giving me awareness on issues in my body. Ive been to podiatrists, naturopaths, chiropractors, and many other physical therapists. Nobody has helped me as much as Veronica did. Long story: I do a lot of sports, on and off, including yoga, climbing running, parkour, soccer, basketball, etc... I recently hit my 30s and my body has been responding very differently to stress and injuries. I had the following 4 major issues since then (in an 8 month period): 1 - It first started with a lot of pain in my right big toe, mainly due to really tight climbing shoes. 2- Then with a crazy jump from rock to rock that ended in a bad landing, severely bruising my heel, and resulting in plantar fasciitis. 3- One month later, I landed on my other heel on a rocky shore when I was hanging on a piece of a rock that broke. That was plantar fasciitis 2. 4- Then followed by tearing a muscle connecting the hip to the knee somewhere while trying to really push myself with a heel hook at the climbing gym. For the first two issues, I went to a podiatrist. He really couldnt do anything after many visits. I then went to physical therapy (not action/reaction), and they actually managed to help me with the bunion, as I started to get control over my big toe. However, the pain in the big toe was still bothering me from time to time. Also, I didnt get much progress on the plantar fasciitis, and I was offered to buy products every now and then. Going to action/reaction physical therapy, the first issue was easy. I got a wider climbing shoes as recommended. My big toe doesnt bother me anymore. For plantar fasciitis, I got tips on how to treat the pain, to change the shoes that Im using, and to take it really easy on anything that stresses the heels. Simple steps and changing the shoes went a long way. I didnt have to do much and after a few months of getting busy I realized that the issue resolved itself mainly due to the help from the shoes. Veronica also helped me discover other issues in my body that I didnt even manage to discover through Yoga. I knew I had inflexible hips, but I didnt have awareness of how my back was doing the extra work to compensate the limitation in it. I also like how she draws the diagrams/figures for the exercises that I need to make, gives me the official names for them so I can look them up if I want to, and describes the muscle movements, etc... If youre passionate about sports and you have injuries, I highly recommend you give Veronica a visit at Action Reaction Physical therapy. Youll have someone who can really speak the language of climbing, running, etc... because she has done a lot of it in practice and really "knows" what youre talking about.

I originally went to Action Reaction several years ago, from a doctors referral, for a sprained ankle. Dzuka was very helpful in providing exercises that helped me get rid of the pain and back to the activity I was used to before the sprain! More recently I started running and started experiencing hip pain that was preventing me from running longer than 2 miles. I returned to Action Reaction and sure enough they came to the rescue! Dzuka was very helpful in analyzing my stride and movements to identify the culprit. Through a combination of prescribed exercises and stretching therapies, I was able to continue running through my treatment, and happy to report night and day improvement! Through Dzukas help (not to mention his inspiring encouragement and enthusiasm) I am able to run longer distances than ever before and armed with exercises that will help me continue to improve my running. Cant recommend Dzuka and the Action Reaction team enough! The location is easy to get to (on main bus lines, near soon to be light rail lines and I-5) as well as ample street parking. The staff is also very flexible with time and I was able to get appointments around my work schedule.

This is probably my first time writing a review on internet. Today I "graduated" from my physical therapy treatment with Diane at Action Reaction PT, and wanted share my experience with anyone seeking a similar type of treatment. I saw Diane for my shoulder pain for about 5 months and my shoulder pain that bothered me for several years is finally gone. Diane taught me about body posture for daily routines and exercise, and stretches and exercises to build strength in my muscles. Diane was super patient with many questions and concerns I had, and so was Jessica, the receptionist at the front desk. All of the staff at ARPT are super patient, kind, flexible, and considerate. They really care about their patients experience and well-being. Before seeing Diane, I tried chiropractic, massages, yoga, acupuncture -- pretty much anything I could try to resolve the issue. Diane helped me to gradually incorporate my usual workout routines along with her recommended exercises and stretches. All in all, I have been so grateful and satisfied with the service and the treatment that I received at ARPT and highly recommend receiving physical therapy with Diane at ARPT.

As someone who had never worked with a PT before I was unsure if I was the proper candidate. I am a relatively healthy 23-year-old who is not suffering from a major impact injury but rather with varying degrees of chronic pain as a result of working in a labor intensive field. I was encouraged to consult with a physical therapist by my doctor, who referred me to Action Reaction. I began working with Aysha Morgan and I cannot express how thankful I am to have found such a wonderful PT. She is smart, passionate, dedicated, charismatic AND funny. Aysha not only has extensive knowledge of body mechanics but understands and cares about her clients as a whole, creating an atmosphere of mutual respect and comfort. This feeling extends to all of Action Reaction, my entire experience has been pleasant and hospitable. I recommend Aysha Morgan and Action Reaction 100%-- Thanks guys!

I recommend Action Reaction to anyone looking to improve their physical state. A disc in my neck slipped 8/2016, which in turn impinged a nerve that controlled my right arm. As a very physically active person, I was frustrated and afraid my life would be void of many activities I enjoy. I started working with Di, and immediately felt a sense of calm and trust. Di got me through the initial stage, she had to leave work for a period of time, so I worked with Dzuka (owner) who also was great. He recommended Veronika who I saw October through this week (I graduated!). Veronika was a great teacher and helped me improve in some other areas not associated with my original injury. in August I couldnt even brush my teeth with my right hand--Now Im back in the gym 5 days a week! Great staff, great experience!!

I started going to Action Reaction and seeing Veronika Maass for a lower back injury. I had previously been attending a sports therapist, but Action Reaction provides much more comprehensive and informed therapy for not only sports, but injuries and recovery. I got excellent advice and a program for recovery before getting surgery on my lower back. Right out of surgery, I had a plan and exercises to do to start recovering quickly. I continued attending physical therapy with Veronika, which has restored and increased my strength, endurance, flexibility, posture, and overall lack of pain and well-being. I am getting back into the sports and physical activity I used to enjoy and have acquired a great set of tools for keeping myself healthy from Action Reaction and Veronika. Thanks a lot!
