I had a good experience three years ago at my first examination at Vision Plus. Doctor Pyle bought the practice in the intervening years and my second visit confirms service has only improved. Firstly, customer service is obviously a priority here. I got an appointment in less than a week and the administrative staff did their homework thoroughly on my insurance benefits. Its really a pleasure to receive such professional attention. Secondly, I thought the eye examination was administered with expertise, excellent technology, and good personal skills. I really liked the retinal photographic instrument, which makes the dilation procedure unnecessary. Thirdly, I had no problem finding some premium titanium frames with a two year warranty. They have an extensive selection of frames to choose from. Im a person who almost always takes online reviews into account, especially negative ones, and am happy to recommend Vision Plus. I didnt bother researching pricing relative to other providers, Im willing to pay a premium for an outstanding experience.

Nice store front. The clinic in the back is a little dirty and outdated. I got my prescription. Payed with my insurance and covered the rest with my credit card. 3 months later I get a piece of mail from a collection agency requesting $20. I didnt understand why the extra charge occurred so I called the store to inquire. They refused to discuss the situation with me and insisted I only communicate with the collection agency. I caved, and paid the $20 instead of calling around trying to right the situation and risking my credit score.

Very easy to set up my first appointment online. The staff were very friendly and easygoing--not at all pushy. I saw the doctor right on time, and she was knowledgeable and personable. The staff helped me pick out some frames and already knew all the details about my insurance coverage. They gave good suggestions based on what little information I came up with and didnt pressure me in any way for a sale.

Appointment was super easy to set up, great selection of glasses, and lingering issues Ive had with my eyes were cleared up after 1 visit. :) Highly recommend. Staff was super helpful and friendly as well. Especially with insurance knowledge.
