I just returned from an appt as a new patient. I must say that Dr.Balter gives excellent service. He is attentive, offers good advice, friendly and a great optometrist. However, the staff were extremely rude. I asked a question in regards to filing out the form and a younger staff woman snapped at me for what I thought was a reasonable question. Later, I attempted to pick out glasses. I gave a quick description of what I was looking for and proceeded to try on glasses. The staff member helping me offered little assistance and was almost addressing me in a condescending manner. Although I am a bit young, 20, it didnt seem like fair treatment, even though I am a new customer and a repertoire had not yet been established. I work in Customer Service and was just shocked at the mistreatment. Thank god VSP insurance extends to many places around Ballard and Seattle. Dr.Balter is absolutely fantastic though!

I have been going to Mark for years. He has always been friendly, professional, and attentive to the needs of my family and I. Likewise, his staff genuinely seem to love their jobs and appreciate every customer that comes in. They have a great selection of glasses, new technology, and great advice and answers! I would recommend them to anyone.
