Hateful, unprofessional, rude staff, absolutely lacking compassion and very arrogant and cold, brisk "dentist" that wont even discuss prescription and didnt put required info on prescription--because these people dont care, and made some false statements insulting me . I got strong sense of bigotry in this office. Their medical assistant tried to tell me I will have do some X-ray (for problem that doesnt require x-rays) or leave their office-- before I even had a chance to see a dentist. They treat you like youre farm cattle at veterinarian. I was harassed by their stuff member, who knew I was in a lot of pain, who also tried to put blood pressure meter directly on my skin -- not the regular blood pressure meter put on sleeve -- and told me to leave the office, if I dont agree to this while the band that holds it is not changed between patients, yikes; this loudmouthed uncouth woman kept harassing me even as I was walking out of their office. Never seen anything like that before. My state and pain had very much worsened after harassment I endured in their office.

Was treated very well. Nicki was my hygienist and was well aware of my concerns and did a bang up job. Dr. Edwards did the examine and addressed my treatment plan very well. Next was Felisha for the financial part of my upcoming procedure and it was handled very professional and to my satisfaction. The only real complaint I have is the younger staff members were gathered right next to Felishas cubicle and were very loud making it hard to hear her very well. Granted, it was a Friday afternoon. Overall, good experience.

My teenager dreaded going to the dentist for his exam and cleaning; and hes never needed fillings. I felt like I was being harassed by my previous dentist to make an appointment; first a post card reminder, then a phone call, and then another phone call AFTER I had made an appointment! It was time for a change. The first place I called was Shelton Family Dental. My son LOVED the atmosphere; his dentist was funny, and the exam and treatments were worth raving about. I think we are done shopping for a dentist!
