Ok, this happened awhile ago, but I was so angry I waited so I wouldnt say anything ugly. So, there were 3 different visits, I like to give people a chance because everybody has bad days. One visit my daughtet had pelvic problems, so we go to the exam room. We wait, the Dr. comes in and ask if she provided a urine sample and why wasnt she in a gown. No and no because the nurse didnt give us the supplies for either. So she says she will be back. Ok, fine. So my daughter changes and provides the sample. Dr. comes back in and says there is no tray of tools and supplies she needs. So again she says she will come back. Nurse comes in with tray. Poor Doc. So we had to wait every time while she saw another patient because of poor work performed by nursing staff. The next time my daughter had something wrong with her eye. We checked in, paid, waited, were sent to a treatment room. Great didnt take long. Then they came in and sorry we are closed and you will have to come back tomorrow. I said that I had already paid and she said she would work in the morn and wouldnt charge me again. Gee, how generous. So we were there when the doors opened and were the 1st in and had to wait 1 1/2 hours. Why? Dont know except they took people ahead of us who arrived after us. When she was finally seen, they werent sure what was wrong but told her this shot would help. They neglected to tell her it cost $$$ out of pocket. Last time she was sick so went there reluctantly. After the visit, she was going to work but was late because of going to the clinic. She asked if she could have a note that stated she had been seen there. She wasnt using to get out of work, just a note to tell her boss that she was late because she had seen the Dr. The Dr. refused, she said that it wasnt her responsibility to tell her work where she had been and accused my daughter of using her ( the doctor) to get out of work. My daughter explained that she wasnt trying to get out of work, just a note to say she had been there for a visit. Answer was still no. After she got to work, her and her boss called the clinic and the Dr. refused to take the call and had the receptionist tell her that she wasnt changing her mind. My daughter was in tears. The boss believed my daughter, thank goodness, because she has always been reliable. So thats our story. Never again. I wouldnt go there again if they gave me a year of free medical visits.

Checked online, wait time said 26 min. Went in for a urine test for UTI, sat there over 3 1/2 hours before taken to a room, sat there another 30 min to see a doctor. She said my test was not 100% positive, but did show some minimum values indicating an infection, so would prescribe me antibiotics for 3 days. I told her I know my body, my symptoms and 3 days will not be enough to get rid of it. I explained that I have several infections a year and need 7 to 10 days to treat them. I am 71 years old, diabetic, and ever since a surgery for bladder in 1994, I have constantly had these infections. She dismissed everything I said, even though My Chart shows her everything I said, I have a doctor in the same building and the many times I have been treated for this. She said since my test just shows possibility of infection, 3 days should be enough. I took the pills and got a call back a couple days later asking if I was better. I told the nurse I felt better after taking just 2 of them in the 24 hours. I ask her if I could get more so I dont get better then it come back after I get off the medication and explained to her what I had told the doctor. She ask, the doctor said no. Well, here I am, 2 weeks after stopping the medicines and it has returned with a fury. It is not always patients who cause super bugs, it is ignorant doctors as well. Her ignorance in dismissing what a patient says and insisting 3 days of treatment was enough, only caused my bug to get stronger and possibly caused me to not be able to use this antibiotic in the future because of the resistance it built up. I already have several antibiotics that I cannot use and have very few that still work for me. I explained that before she dismissed my request for more than 3 days treatment and ask her for more days. She did not give a crap about me, only her egotistical decision. I will NEVER go there again.

This was the worst experience with a healthcare provider. I understand you cant expect the best quality at an urgent care, however I feel my partner and I were greatly discriminated against. Let alone the lack of knowledge of the entire staff, the physician on duty continued to assume (possibly because of our age or appearance - tattoos and what not) that we were unable to financially support our healthcare needs. The doctor asked "what kind of insurance do you have - healthy options".. umm no sir. We do not have state benefits and never indicated that - we both work and have employer sponsored benefits. He then refused to do labs at the request of my boyfriend for a recurring issue. The doctor did absolutely nothing, told him how expensive the treatment plan would be - where I stopped him and stated again, money is not the concern for us... we want to find the root cause of this reoccurring problem. He said he should just wait it out. At that point we were so frustrated we just said ok and told him we would seek a second opinion. He let us know he would prescribe naproxen for swelling but continued to insist that there are not pain killers. We never asked about pain killers - as he had no pain just continual unexplained inflammation in his hand. This doctor assumed because we look young (we are 30) and have tattoos that we are poverty level drug seekers and his continual disrespect and discrimination was very apparent. Before you pass judgment you should probably assess the situation differently. I work in healthcare and my boyfriend is a machinist for Boeing. You should know better - discrimination and preconceived ideas of individuals is damaging and unnecessary. Im sure in urgent cares you dont come in contact with the elite members of society but I assure you - listening to your patient is HUGE. These are the type of experiences that elicit malpractice claims.

If I could give a 10 I would...I brought my mother in to this clinic. She is elderly (89) and hard of hearing and at her age is now scared of the doctors. The receptionist remembered her from a previous visit and immediately started to talk with her putting her at ease. The lobby had a few folks waiting so I figured we would be waiting awhile but within 5 minutes a nurse came back to pull us into an exam room and get her vitals. Seconds later another nurse popped in to tell us that a room had just become available and that we could be seen now. Our nurse asked the other nurse to get a warm blanket for my mom and she returned quickly with the blanket. I know the clinic was busy but boy, how special my mom felt to have 2 nurses there to make sure she was comfortable. The nurses even checked if I wanted a snack while waiting. The rest of the exam went as smoothly as the beginning, great ARNP. I 100% felt as if the staff cared about my mom and as her only son, I cannot tell you what that means. Will always come back here if we need care. Thank you Multicare.
