These are the most wonderful Veterinarians and staff ever!!!! I have gone to this Veterinary Clinic since I was a girl and now could be considered a senior citizen. Dr. Earl Hinz of the previous Yakima Veterinary Clinic was a kind and caring Veterinarian. His son Dr. David Hinz and granddaughter Dr. Julie Young carry on Dr. Earls tradition and are skilled and caring Veterinarians. Dr. David Hinz is an extraordinarily kind man and a skilled surgeon. He got my Birdie back on all fours after cruciate ligament surgery. You will not find more qualified or caring Veterinarians and staff in the Valley. All of the Vets are top notch. Yakima Valley Veterinary was not our original veterinarian. Our dog had lived a full life and was clear that it was time for him to be put down. We called our vet on record and they wanted to set an appointment for the following day...NOT AN OPTION as our dog was suffering. Knowing Dr. Sandi Kok from previous volunteer efforts, I called Yakima Valley Veterinary and they got us in immediately, showing compassion for our situation. They have since become our vet even though we live on the opposite side of town. Weve worked with three different vets at the clinic and each of them show care and concern for our current dogs. Cant say enough good things about this clinic!!

When I brought my golden retriever in to update his vaccinations the service and the vet were wonderful (quick, detailed examination). However, when I received a quote for 2 kitten packages with 1 Spay and 1 neuter their price was twice the cost of other vet clinics in Yakima (it does include microchipping, others did not). Call around to get a price that allows you to still pay your rent/mortgage. Also, through getting quotes from most clinics in Yakima, I noticed that even the lowest quoted price is still $200 more than places in the Tacoma and Spokane area (places I have been to, trust, and can vouch for their services).

The best experience Ive had at a vet clinic in a long time! My dog is usually a terrible patient. I let them know this ahead of time and they listened. They went at a pace that my dog was comfortable with, and were able to complete an entire exam and a toe nail trim with no problems. Liz and Dr. Cok made my nervous dogs feel as comfortable as possible. Dr. Col then took the time to talk to me about all of my concerns and give me options for treating my dogs issues. She let me know that my dog doesnt need a dental at this time saving me $$$. I felt like this place is in it for the animals sake not just the money.

I am very disappointed in the way this clinic handled my situation. This is my first time visiting this clinic and this clinic billed me for something that I had already paid for in person before my visits, and when I called to get it situated she was first of all laughing at the situation and ended up saying I am not understanding what the staff said, I dont understand what shes saying. The lady was very rude and said not to visit their clinic anymore. So Prudence, I will take my business somewhere else and I will state my experience with other animal owners so they are aware of how you run the clinic.

I have had the best experience with this Vet clinic. My furbaby Charlotte had to go in for emergency surgery & i was worried about the cost. They were amazing, let me do payment arrangements. Amazing customer service, they even called after i took her home to see how she was doing. Its a miracle she is alive & i owe that to Yakima Valley Veterinary Clinic.

The location is very nice and the vet was very friendly, but the staff at the checkout counter was bahaving oddly and made me feel uncomfortable. I felt as if Id interrupted a conversation or something. Ive heard there are other vets that arent as expensive. Ill have to check that out.

Dr. Cok was such a wonderful vet. She took really good care of my Scarlet and even examined her ear for me when I took her in for a vaccine. Best of all she gave time to ask for questions. Such a friendly vets office. Wish they had such a nice office back in Florida where I am from.
