At first, I was impressed with dr khan (spelling?) because he seemed to know exactly what he was doing and even showed me a book with pictures & descriptions to explain what was going on with my pup. He even showed me the skin sample under a microscope so I could really understand my little guys condition. However, after the diagnosis, the treatment was not explained to me. I was told he would receive a "medicated bath" ...okay? Tell your patients parents exactly what youre giving their pets and why. Also, explain possible side effects! Had I been told what medication he was receiving and what the possible side effects of it are, I would never have agreed to my 6 month old, 30 pound pupper receiving amitraz- had I known what that was at the time. About 2 hours after I picked my little guy up, he became disoriented, unable to walk, and lethargic. I called the aspca poison control center and they said to take him to the emergency vet right away. I am livid. I will never go to this vet again. And come to find out, you can treat demodex with tea tree oil topically so why didnt dr khan suggest that first? Why jump to something so toxic so fast?

They never answer their phone. The Vet is good but his staff is horrible. Nicole told me my cat had diabetes an obstruction in her stomach per the x rays and a urinary infection. Truth be when I spoke to the Vet none of these were true. Please dont ever listen to Nicole!!!!! she thinks shes the vet, she thinks she knows, and if the Vet is telling her what to report she does NOT report what he says. They need to let her rude ass go. And on top of it all shes rude when you question her on what shes reporting and when you ask to speak to the Vet she wont let you. Nicole made us never come there again and because of her we reported this facility to Safe Harbor to have them be removed from their suggested Vet list, which Safe Harbor did remove them!!!!! And we also reported them to the BBB. Sometimes pricey is ok when you get correct information, low price vets give you poor workers. Dont use them until Nicole is GONE Its Saturday why arent you open per your sign? Why does every review say your staff is horrible? We all cant be full of it!!! Doc replace Nicole an other even the eye roller OMG!!!!

Been going here for years. He is an expert and reasonably priced. I get the multiple animal discount! He has put down my old buddies with sincere care and sympathy. He has rescued two when I thought they were goners. I recently moved from Kenosha but still take the trek back for vaccinations, checkups and veterinary food for my diabetic cat. Even his prescription cat food is reasonably priced. My cat broke his leg and paw and hid for hours, he wouldnt let me get near him or his leg. When he was carted to Dr. Kahn you would of thought nothing had happened. Doc twisted, felt around up and down and my nipping, growling cat became putty in his hands. I highly recommend Dr. Kahn and his staff. They are a busy bunch so be patient.

A few months back I brought my high energy 1 yr old male cat BudderMac to Dr. Kahns office to check on an ear infection. BudderMac, scratched his inner ear due to ear wax build up which became infected. Dr. Kahn and staff were very kind and impressed me by looking out for his over all health and attention to the situation at hand. With a good cleaning, antibiotics and some ear drops later...he seems to be happier and his ear healed since then. If you are an animal lover like me, Dr. Kahn and his staff are the place to be for the best care....also we all know vet bills can be over inviting, but not with their office. They are reasonably priced.

My dog was very sick, i called into this vet to see what the cost would be to put him down. i new that is what would happen. They suggested i bring him in. I did and they did testing on him, kept him for a few nights and were just wonderful with him. He is perfect now back to his old self. My cat then got out and was brought to the human society, i had to come to Lakeshore to get his prepaid rabies shot. they were the cheapest around! and they were great with him when i brought him in. i will be bringing in my 2 kittens when i get them to get declawed because i know they will do a great job!!

We have been coming here for close to 7 years and they are amazing! They saved my 1 year old lab mix who was dying from a severe case of parvo! We called them and they said bring her in and they started fluids right away got her comfortable and immediately started working on making her better because without treatment that night she wouldnt have made it. She is now 5 years old and as healthy and happy as can be! She loves them so much because she knows they saved her life! They are amazing, kind, understanding, caring, good at what they do, they are the cheapest in town and they are the BEST!

Most of the staff is friendly only a couple seemed helpful when I was making my kitten n cats appointment I didn't feel like the staff was listening. When I get home with my animals my kitten who was spayed n declawed still had a nice sized piece of gauge stuck to her paw. I went to this place on several good recommendations, disappointing this ended up being a bad experience. Not to mention I had to drive back from Racine to have the gauge removed as it was glued to heavy on her paw

My dog was very sick with cancer and the vet was very compassionate and did all he could to take care of my dog. When the cancer spread, it was decided our dog had to be put down. We had this dog for 13 years, and was very much a part of our family. We were allowed to say our goodbyes and take as much time as we needed before our dog was put down. We plan on getting another pet, and I will be using this vet again.

Went with this vet for almost 8 months.... The staff is not very friendly and the Vet misdiagnosed my dog TWICE. They also charged me for sample packets that clearly said "Not for resale" on them.... They just want to nickle and dime you. I would highly suggest you take your loved one elsewhere.

Great place and reasonable prices. However, stopped by 16-SEP-2017 Saturday to pick something up and they were closed. Albeit the web and sign on the door states 8-12 on Saturdays. Disappointed as I live a distance from downtown.

Staff seems to have a attitude , one especially . shes always rolling her eyes. I will be going somewhere else for now on even if it cost more....somewhere friendly even if it cost more.
