my baby girl

Unfortunately I had to say goodbye to my first baby Xena today. She suffered a lot in her last few days and I went through a horrible experience with another animal hospital. Id like to thank and highly reccomend Elmwood River Grove for there compassion and expertise. This is an establishment with a knowledgeable and truly caring and understanding team. Although my family and I are heartbroken, it was comforting to have a team behind us that cared about more than the money they could get out of me, they caref not only about my babygirl but also about us as well. Caring enough to even share excite with us as she got better and tears as she turned for the worse. Thank you for everything. Even though we could not help our loving baby. We know you caref enough to do all that was in your power amd it means alot to us to have you as our team. My husband and I will not be able to welcome another furbaby into our lives because noone could replace or live up to the happiness Xena brought to our family but I highly recommend this team to anyone with a loved animal in their family. You will never regret the decision to join the elmwoos river grove family. And yes i mean family.

Without reservation I give Dr. Heneghan, Dr. Fox and the rest of the employees at Elmwood-Grove Animal Hospital my highest recommendation. My beloved dogs have been cared for by Elmwood-Grove since I brought them home, and they have received the best care possible. I trust Elmwood-Grove 100% to do what is necessary to ensure the health and welfare of Henri and Hugo, and I never worry about them doing unecessary extra things or overcharging me. I have called the hospital for urgent or emergency issues, and I always receive prompt return calls. In an emergency, the answer is always "bring them in and well take a look." The hospital is clean, the staff very organized, and they do their best to get you in and out in a timely manner. I have also boarded my dogs there for short stays and the dogs come home healthy and happy.

We have had many pets and many vets over the years, but Elmwood-Grove is by far the best. Theyre not cheap, but their caring, personalized service is outstanding! For example, when it was time to say goodbye to our sweet girl "Sammi", Dr. Heneghan offered to let us bring her after closing, so that there would be as little stress for her as possible. She put blankets on the floor for us, so that we could sit with Sammi as the sedative took effect. My wife and I held her, said our final goodbyes, and she passed away peacefully in my arms. The whole experience, though very sad, was also very beautiful. Ive never had any other vet go to such lengths to see that the loss of a beloved pet was made just a little easier for the "pet parents". Thank you, Dr. Heneghan.

Found out in the internet that my dog was diabetic after spending almost $500.00 at this location, and the worst part was that not even a blood test was perform. This vet should know what was wrong with my dog when i told them that my dod was drinkink too much water and loosing weight rapidly.

Had a billing issue at the beginning but have had excellent service since. They even stayed late and to help with my dog who was sick. Price is a good value, and communication with front desk is pretty good.
