My dad has been missing multiple teeth which required placement of multiple implants. He had been to 2 other periodontists and oral surgeons and was told that he will need some sort of extensive surgery (bone graft) and that the success rata is not that great. I brought my dad to Dr. Shin through a word of mouth. I wasnt quite sure in the beginning because he looked so young and didnt know how much experience he had. After researching, I found out that he has been an associate professor at NYU for many years and that he was chosen as Top dentist in many magazines. Well, to make the long story short, my father went through few surgeries with 5 implants to replace his teeth. Wow, what a difference it made for him! Now he is so happy! He looks much younger and he can chew better. What more can you ask for! I referred another friend of mine because one of his lower tooth had recession and about to fall out. He had a graft done and now the tooth is solid as a rock. If I ever needed implants (luckily, I dont need at this point), I would definitely go to him. Highly recommended!

I needed a dental implant due to a failed root canal. From the beginning, Dr. Shin and his entire staff were extremely professional and welcoming. There were numerous issues associated with the failed root canal---loss of bone in the area and a bad sinus infection---and Dr. Shin took care of everything! The office is fresh, modern and beautiful. The staff works diligently with patients on any insurance and post-op concerns you may have. I assure you, from start to finish...a wonderful and positive experience!

Dr. Shin is great. He always welcomed me and his staff members are always friendly and responsive. I had one missing teeth and gum problems. He placed me one implant on my lower second molar and I am very satisfied with the result. Dr. Shin has done a wonderful job on my teeth and I started to realize that he really is an expert on implant surgery.

Dr. Shin did an amazing job of fixing my receding gums! He used a pioneering technique that made my gums look 10 years younger. He and his staff treated me with the utmost professional courtesy, and their post-operation follow-up was excellent. I would recommend Dr. Shin to anyone looking to have periodontal work done.

I went to Dr. Shins office. They made me feel very comfortable and treated me great. I had a few implants placed and I had no pain and no complicatins after. He really knows what he is doing. He is very friendly too. I highly recommend seeing him for your implants or any perio needs.

I had an infection because of a bad root canal, so I had to get an implant at Alpine Periodontics. The staff is great here. Really friendly staff and they were just really helpful. Dr. Shin really knows his stuff and does a great job. Very minimal pain after the procedure.

Alpine Periodontics is the best. I had a dental implant put in when I treated a root canal too late. Also, their dental hygienist Kathy is the best. She is very thorough with the cleaning. Dr. Shin, the other dentists, assistants, and support staff are great.
