Today I called because I needed appointments for my 2 older boys for a cleaning and exam and for my self to complete a root canal I just had. I was told I needed a post and crown within 30 days. As I am speaking to her she proceeded to tell me my son was never there. He was there had his teeth cleaned x-rays everything. So she proceeded to argue with me about it. Then she said we were removed as patients because of an outstanding bill of $50.00 total. What were apparently 2 $25.00 payments that needed to be made I was not aware of. I never received the bills. In Fact! I was there and was never even told about the balance or I would have paid it there. So then she proceeded to argue with me saying I got the bills. She confirmed the addresses and 2nd floor was not on the records. I explained that I have another family downstairs and that it is possible the bills never made it to MY mailbox. In a nutshell she accused ME of arguing with her. But she was insinuating I was lying, about my son being there and about the bill. Now I am not supposed to get defensive? Further, I was there for an emergency in October. The dentist did an x-ray and said he did not see anything to go to Dr.XXXXX an Endodontic in Great Neck for a pulp test and further review. I took the antibiotics given to me and the pain went away before I saw Dr. XXXXX. When I got there Dr. XXXX looked at the x ray taken by Bellmore and never did the test. Said it was my gums and sent me on my way. I then came back to you for the scaling on one side of my mouth. Not long after that, on Thanksgiving I developed bad infections in my tooth again. I called your office the day after Thanksgiving and was given Dr. XXXXX number. I called and the receptionist in his office told me to call Bellmore office back and request pain killers, and an antibiotic since Dr.XXXX was off for the holiday and could not see me until the following week. Your office then proceeded to argue with me and after a call from theo ther office in Dr. XXXXX office I finally got what I needed. I went to Dr. XXXXX the following week and he did the pulp test. Sure enough I needed the root canal. However, the damage was already done because the next day I got Bells Palsy, which I was told could have indirectly been caused by the lingering infection in my mouth. (My immunity being compromised from the 6 weeks long infection in my mouth not from the tooth directly) I called your office and told Trish who then said she advised that this happened and would get back to me. Of which she never did. The bill through all of this was NEVER mentioned. Now we are into December 08. So now here we are. All of sudden I owe this money, I am liar and I need to find another dentist. Not only did I get NO consideration for the lack of care I received and possible complications from it. Not only was I in an indirect way called a liar, but I was left to twist in the wind needing follow up care from a dentist that started referrals and treatment and refused to finish the job. I did ask to speak with the adminisrator but was told not he would not speak with me. The treatment I received from your office was deplorable. I am guessing that in the dental field patient care is not as important as your $50.00. You could have called, and for all the times I called your office you could have advised me. Good to know they have so many patients they can ditch a family for a small amount I had not idea I owed.

I always hated going to the dentist until I came to Bellmore Family Dental. I love this place! Not only are they kind but they explain everything to you and they try to save you money when possible. I had a lot of work done and they try to make it as painless as possible. In addition I had Invisalign. It was the most amazing experience. Everything was explained and everything turned out great. It was worth every dollar and they also give you whitening afterward. Theres no other place Id rather go.

Spent years being terrified of the dentist and past painful experiences made me avoid going until a root canal was necessary. Called this office by chance and they saw me right away. Helped me then and have returned since for cleaning. Everyone in the office is friendly and helpful and do everything to put you at ease. If you are looking for a pain free, pleasant experience then this is the place to go. Thank you Bellmore Family Dental for saving my teeth. Now our whole family are regulars.

I have had very good experiences with Bellmore Family Dental. Starting from the front desk, hygienist and physician. They are very professional and courteous. They accommodate my needs for scheduling. The office manager Amy has done a terrific job in making the office aesthetically pleasing. And the hygienist are amazing especially Adela and Gina. My 14 year old daughter also is a patient and she loves them all. I highly recommend this Dental practice.

My mother came in for veneers and they look amazing! She recommended I come here for my whitening and I have to say it was one of the best experiences Ive ever had at a dental practice. Everyone, especially Amy, is so caring and personable and really took the time to answer all of my questions. Im super excited about my new zoom whitening treatment and I havent had any sensitivity. I highly recommend this practice!

Highly recommend this dental practice! Once you enter the office from the reception, to hygienists, to the actual dentists themselves are professional and very accommodating to all your needs. They made going to the dentist a good, positive experience for my children and myself. The dentist was able to repair my sons front tooth when other place could not.

The front desk are group of very kind beautiful women who were very helpful, and the Dentist whos name I believe was Chris was very professional toward handling my situation. I was very happy to find this Dental Office.

I brought my mother in for a check up because her bridge was broken. The staff took great care of my mom and gave her options on how to restore her teeth. The receptionist was very pleasant and we were seen in a timely manner. We will be back for her treatment very soon and look forward to working with them again.

The office is modern, the staff is friendly and the dentists are terrific. They have always taken my UFT dental ins. as payment in full!!!
