NOT the place to go if you are in pain. Dr. Singh was definitely not in line when God was handing out compassion. I went there in pretty bad shape, in a ton of pain which was obvious as the whole side of my face was very swollen. I had my 18 month old son with me as I couldn't find a sitter. They took xrays, he looked at them and gave me a referral to a specialist. In the meantime (before I can get an appointment), he gave me an antibiotic and motrin. I started taking them immediately, they seemed to be working. The 6th day of taking the medicine (still before I could get appointment for specialist), the infection came back with gusto...the entire left side of my face is HUGE and its painfully OBVIOUS that I am in severe pain. I called and the receptionist (who is the best part of this place, got me in to be seen. Dr. Singh was VERY condescending about it and barely wanted to give me anibiotic. When I asked for something other then ibuprofen he LIED and told me he "wasn't allowed" to give me anything other then that. I'm a nursing student, the moment I can look at someone OBVIOUSLY in severe pain and not want to help them whatsoever, is the moment I do something else for work! He is condescending, rude and doesn't have an ounce of compassion. If you're in pain, this is NOT the place that you want go! He actually told me to go to the ER if it got much bigger! Yet he was telling me to take a motrin....unbelievable!

I was a patient of west Ave Dental two years ago, because the cost of the treatment was very expensive this people made a contact with a bank, GEcapital and pretending to be doing me a favor, they did all of the process of a loan, I made every payment that were suppossed to be done in a term of a year without any interest and after a year this bank charged me 500 dollars, to make this story short, the bank made a double the original amount before 2 years. I tried to contact both the dentist office and the bank and either gave me an answer or solution... I do not recommend this Dental office..... Fui paciente de esta oficina de odontologos dos anos atras, el precio del tratamiento era muy costoso por lo cual alli me gestionaron un prestamo con el Banco GEcapital, me garantizaron q si pagaba en menos de dos anos no me cargarian intereses, pero todo fue mentira, a los 13 meses me cargaron un interes de 500 dolares....y antes de los dos anos aumento el doble del valor original q me fue prestado. Trate de contactar a la oficina y al banco y ninguno de los dos me dio explicacion o solucion... Tengn mucho cuidado con este consultorio odontologico, No lo recomiendo, son deshonestos.

Finding a good doctor is very difficult. It is just like having a good lawyer who you can trust on with your life. Same thing with a Dentist. A person can tolerate any pain in the body but heart and a toothache is unbearable. Ever since I started going to West Ave Dental I have decided not to go to any other Dentist at all. Ive moved to New York -- though it cost little more to travel but its better than any toothache and getting checked to a good Doctor. Dr. Rishi Gogate is an Super Amazing doctor with a superb sense of humor with a great Demeanor. I always seen him talking nicely to his staff and as well as with his clients. With my entire family he always take very good care of our dental needs and make us feel as we are really special for him. The best part is that the appointments are always on time. I highly recommend West Ave Dental to any toothache or any dental needs. It will change your attitude towards the Dentists. Thanks Dr. Gogate

I had the best experience at West Ave Dental today. I went there a few day before my treatment just for a check-up, and unfortunately I needed to have a tooth re-done and have a crown put on it. So I got an appointment fast, 4 days later,and with the information of the cost and also what would happen the day of my appointment. Doctor Gogate and his assistant was great, so friendly not to mention really funny, they made me feel comfortable being in the chair not many people like. Doctor Gogate told me from the beginning to the end what he was doing, witch is a huge plus in my book, and asked me many times if I was okay... Going to the dentist is never fun, but believe it or not, they made it fun and made the time past fast... Not to mention what a great job they did and a team work they had... Thank you!

My wife visited this dentist for a new patient check up, and was told that she needed three fillings for small cavities before they worsened. During the checkup, both the hygienist and the dentist pitched her cosmetic tooth straightening procedures, and the dentist was rude and condescending to her. They gave her a quote for the three fillings of something like $600, with the removal of a tiny stain in her enamel "thrown in for free". When she asked for a copy of her xrays, they gave her a black and white office print out which looked like a static-filled TV screen. We went and got a second opinion from another dentist, who told her there was absolutely nothing wrong with her teeth, except for two of those tiny enamel stains, the fixing of which cost $70.

This place seems very good or as I have heard of, my grandson is a patient here and his parents love the place,everyone in the office wonderful very friendly and poliet very patient. They loved it,Unfortunatly I called to setup an appt. The lady that picked up thephone seemed polite, a bit rude said her name was zaria or something like that, she started explaning things to me that I did not askfor very confusing and then starts talking to someone that i am guessing was asking her a question, while she still on the phone with me. To top it off she was so loud that i didnt even have the phone next to my hear. I ended up just not making the appt. I guess other people must have good luck when they call and get an appt.

My daughters first experience at West Avenue Dental was wonderful. Especially its friendly atmosphere consisting of a very courteous, kind staff.I would characterize Dr. Gogate and his helpful assistants approach as very welcoming. It showed how truly committed they were to the patient relationship and giving excellent service. He looked out for my daughters best interest. Dr. Gogate involved me into the process step by step by telling me what he was going to do next. Along with his sense of humor, he expounded on every tool. This made it easier for my daughter to adjust to this new dentist setting. In conclusion, due to my successful visit, I would highly recommend attending West Avenue Dental.

The first time I used West Ave Dental was for a severe gum infection that had developed overnight. I was scared,nervous and in great pain. By chance AND luck my appointment was with Dr. Gogate, my new hero! He was compassionate, friendly, witty enough to get me to smile, and before I even left the chair was beginning to feel relief. I now use Dr. Gogate for all my dental needs, from regular cleanings to the 2 bridges and teeth whitening procedures I recently had done and couldnt be happier. You will often hear him compliment his staff which to me says a lot about his fine character. I have been very pleased with all of the staff at West Ave. Dental as well.
