During clinical for my LPN course at Boces, security escorted me out of this particular hospital while in the middle of having a depressive episode when what they should have done, was admit me to their mental health unit. According to them, crying in the hallway (outside of the area where patients actually are) is considered a danger to those patients. I was suffering an episode related to my PTSD, and with me getting escorted out, I was unable to finish my clinical, which means I was unable to finish my schooling. I got kicked out of school just two months before graduation.

As my stay continued at the hospitol the people were nice and helpful. The nurses and ades wete grest and knowledgeable. I felt like i was in good hands. Now a not so good thing is the eating. The food is good for a short stay but once you are there for 2 weeks or more the choices become limited because you have eaten everything that you like and they have to offer. I think opening up a new part of the cafeteria menu would help with the stay for longer visitors. All in all a good stay but they could end the charge for T.V. also. Good hospital, thank you

The E.R was horrible caused more harm then good. They scheduled surgeries then cancelled them. The whole Orthopedic Department is guilty of gross negligence....Dr Lissy , The Department head Diane her assistant Sara....And the girl that upset the patient( victim ) was amy the person that confirmed a sergery had us rush over to sign paper, just to find out they were putting us off another 2 weeks. If you are in Pain and want to be treated like a human being DO NOT COME TO BINGHAMTON GENERAL

I did not come here cause I wanted to be, the staff seems incompetent, they are messing around like kids on a playground. Again Im not here of my own free will, and Ive been waiting to see a doctor for more then an hour. All in all the E.R. sucks. I feel I had better treatment at Lourdes, and that place sucks ass well!!! Im so pissed!!! Ive been the next one to be seen for more then thirty minutes

It may not be state of the art by standards of big cities, but it is the best we have in Binghamton. I strongly recommend United Health Services at Binghamton General or Wilson over Lourdes Hospital. My experiences with UHS are very positive, and please consider it for your health needs.

Waited over 3 hour. And still waiting for my daughter to be seen. They wouldnt see her without me signing papers so i xame right after work. Getting no sleep before i had to go back to work (up almost 24 hrs), and a hour ride home. Will never come back here again

showed up at midnight with a cut on my eye that needed stitches, not really a big deal. I saw nothing that was cause for me to not be called in for 3 hours and only leave after 6am. Doctor was a little unprofessional but everyone else was very nice

Orthopedic office is next to impossible to get through. This is a good thing, because they dont care about the people, and made me worse than before. Go some place else.

Got here at 3pm and sat in er room, which was a cot with a curtain around it, for 3.5 hours and then got moved to another room just to sit and wait more...never again!

Very slow in ER. If you go to the BGH ER plan on at least 3 -6 hrs being there.
