My Son had a injury in December, a door shut on his finger and cut the tip off. He rushed to Lourdes hospital bringing the finger tip with him to hopefully have it reattached. He was sent through the fast track, the Nurse Practitioner said that she talked to the hand surgeon on the phone and he made the decision not reattach the finger tip with out seeing him. I asked her to please call a plastic surgeon in and she said she would not that I could call next day if I wanted. She said that typically they do not reattach fingers as she brushed me off and walked away from me. I wish that I had immediately had gone to another hospital that would have helped us instead being in shock I accepted this decision thinking that Lourdes was acting in our best interest. We followed the Nurse Practitioners directions and went to the hand surgeon the following day. He cut the finger down to the knuckle saying that was the best he could do for my son. Since then I have spoke to people under the same circumstances that have had positive out comes. Apparently Lourdes works with a different standard than the other hospitals in the area. My son is a avid sports player, he works with his hands and now due to the negligence of Lourdes Hospital he will struggle with this for the rest of his life

Do NOT USE the ER!! Took 85 year old F.I.L. to ER by ambulance for extreme, unbearable pain and inability to walk or use right arm. After ambulance left, put in general public waiting room with people with colds, and other minor illnesses. Went through triage with the rest of the population, told triage about medical condition, physicians, and drug allergies - he cant handle morphine. Gets a bright yellow bracelet saying NO MORPHINE. Go into E.R. and house doctor tried to give him morphine! Took over 7 hours to get pain killer and prescription for patch. Then we found out that our doctor was actually in the E.R. admitting 2 other patients and they never told her that we were there.....she said that she would have admitted him if she knew he was there. But they dont like you to have your own doctor come in. You need to see their doctor that they can bill you. There was 1 doctor for our section of the E.R. People were getting angry and walking out ...they brought in security....not more medical help, but security.

They are so, very nice and pleasant. The hospital is so much better than either Wilson or Binghamton General by FAR!! I have had to go their ER a couple of times (as well as Binghamton Generals) and *highly* recommend theirs over Binghamton Generals. They are courteous, keep you up to date, and dont make you wait for hours, unlike most ERs. The imaging department is fantastic- youll be in and out in a flash! its very nice-looking, people are (once again) very pleasant and helpful and they make it as quick and simple as possible. Ive had to have MANY CT and MRI scans done, and I *highly* recommend them! :-)

The fact that we waited longer to be discharged then anything else. I really was not happy with the quality of care the doctor didnt seem very interested in her job and she left use waiting over an hour to be discharged from the hospital. The ER at Lourdes is one of the WORST places Ive been too. Everythings a waiting game and when you have to ask the front desk over and over away when can I leave after being treated its pretty inconvenient and wrong. Overall bad experience!

Went to this hospital because it was in my insurance network. Got emergency services administered and months later got a bill from the doctor (ONLY the doctor, Everything else was covered by my insurance) because he was out of network. Now Im stuck with a $831 bill thats going into collections because this dishonest hospital employs doctors that arent partnered with the same insurance companies as the actual hospital. Dont give these thieves your business!

Lourdes ER has been the worse experience the last three times going. It wasnt so much the care it was the waiting. My husband and i waited 3 hour in the waiting room before even being seen. And it was not the first time. It happens pretty much everytime we go to the lourdes ER. Now i pack a suitcase and something to do for the night because you will be there for more then 7 hours or longer Before going home. So if your not dying make an appointment.

Very slow service in the ER. They literally forgot about my brother. Nurses were irritable esp the one with the purple.red streaks in her hair. Sitting around while not busy. Took an extra hour to get discharged. All they did was come in and handed a paper they printed for my brother. If I dident go out and ask how much longer. We prob would have still been there. Poor service. .

Emergency room is a joke, 4 hrs waiting still and vitals checked once, floor has not been maintained. This isnt the first time Ive given this place another chance. Maybe if they were more concerned with patients health instead of more additions to the building itd actually be a functional medical facility.

The hospital is great when it comes to quality care. However when you make an apointment if they cant get in a timely manor they should reschedrule or work better st their schedruling process. An hour sitting and waiting is unprofessional and speaks to the compitance of those doing the schedruling.

Good hospital, caring, dedicated, knowledgeable nurses. Doctors seem few and far between and rarely see or speak with one but overall good hospital. Confronting to hear prayers being said and they have mass and access to the chapel where Catholic patients can receive the Eucharist.

I thought my experience had been average until I went to a different hospital and realized the dramatic differences! Shortcomings of my Lourdes experience included disinterested and confused staff, painfully long wait times, and preoccupied doctors

My Uncle needed feeding tube replaced. The ER Doctor was able to get it in without problem. The issue we had is waited over 2 hrs for x ray for placement. Thats ridiculous. Poor poor quality service.
