FOR THE LOVE OF YOUR PET - DO NOT BRING THEM HERE. I have never been the person who has time to badly rate restaurants or establishments in my life, but when you completely alter the happiness and state of my pet, you have another thing coming to you. I had the most lovable cat (Scottish fold) loyal pet for 10 years. In the last month, he has gotten severely sick and has been by my side nonstop. He has stopped eating, became very weak, but still stayed up all day to spend NYE with the family. My cat has NEVER hissed in his life. He would only beg me to pick him and cuddle him, especially in his dying days. We arrive to the vet. He tells me that our cat is dying, his temperature is low, he can go any minute. He tells us the cat is super constipated and starts a procedure by pushing water in his butt. My main interest was that the vet recommended we do an "x-ray" as oppose to a sonogram that all my other vets recommended. A couple said that it looks like he has a tumor, but I need a sonogram to be sure. So I questioned the doctor why I was given the advice of getting a sonogram and no one offered me to get an x-ray, he simply told me because a sonogram is "$600-$800" and an X-ray is only $150. I made sure to clarify that I would get the same results as a sonogram would tell me OR ELSE WHY AM I GETTING AN X-RAY?! After hours of mycat at the vet & $450 later, the doctor tells my mom that the next steps would be to get my cat a blood transfusion & a sonogram. It seems to me like this guy is a comedian.... a blood transfusion? For my 10 year old cat? Thats about to die? Blood transfusions are done to young kittens. Sorry I am not trying to torture my cat for thousands of dollars. And dont even get me started that he recommended me a sonogram after the clarification I made with him. His response to that was "its procedure". Then why did the top vet in park slope not tell me to get an x-ray if "its procedure". My cat wont let me touch him. He keeps peeing himself. Hes not moving at all. He wont let me hold him. He is completely immobile. I dont know exactly what the hell they did to my cat but he is full of hatred now and mistrust of his owners. We give fluids to my cat at home and we have a friend who is a vet who would help IV him and give him fluids in our home... he has never reacted badly to us. He was always the same loveable funny Scottish fold we had. Now his last days, he will be spending hating us. I cant believe that establishments like this exist. When you tell me that the cat has very little to live, why are you going to put it through so much torture his last days? I feel completely taken advantage of.

I would honestly give no stars! I Took my cat there the get fixed. I thought everything was okay until I came to pick him up. First off my cat was growling severely at the doctor. Ive never seen him like that, but I brushed it off thinking he was just in pain from getting snipped. The doctor told me I might want to leave him in the carrier for a while because he went crazy when trying to put him in the cage. Well as soon as he is in my care, there is no growling, no clawing or hissing. Nothing. what i did notice however, is that he was favoring his front paw. I go and check it and I cried. They cut one of his nails so short it was bleeding! It hurts so much he doesnt want me to touch it. Well I called them up to complain and they had the nerve to tell me that first off its no ones fault. No one cut his nails and he was going crazy in their care. They turned around and said he must have ripped his claw out while going crazy. Funny! I thought he was calm only until after when they went to put him in the carrier. Said no one is to blame. The audacity!. I will never take him there again. He traumatized my poor cat. Save Yourself THE Trouble AND FIND Someone Who Actually Knows What They Are doing! Your pet will thank you.

Very unprofessional misdiagnosed my cat. When I told them that another vet clearly tested all vital signs and there diagnoses was handwritten which should never had been done they were extremely defensive. I would never trust them with my animal.
