I am amazed at the negative reviews. Ted is a great guy. If you want to have a natural birth, he will let you have that option. If you are an "at risk" pregnancy, by no means should you be doing anything but putting yourself in his hands. He will deliver your baby AND you to a healthy conclusion. And he will do what he has to medically. Do you have ANY idea how many doctors have stopped delivering babies because of lawsuits?? This one hasnt. And he does what he has to so as not to get sued. Without my baby being monitored, we would have had no idea his heart rate took a quick drop into the 30s and 40s in stead of 130-140. They took quick measures and got it back up. (no c-section) I was a high risk pregnancy and was grateful when we had a healthy baby. As far as the $$$ someone talked about....well that is just wrong. Aside from his regular office, he works for People Inc. at their health center on Elmwood Ave. There, he takes medicare, medicaid and delivers quality care for moms as well as care for the People Inc. folks so...do your research. Teds got reasons for what he does and no physician can be on call 24/7. Every doctor has people cover for them. I am an RN and let me tell you, he wants healthy outcomes for every one and if that means taking control of an out of control delivery, he will, so you both live through the experience.

Ive been seeing Dr. Costich for over 20 years. I have never had a negative experience with him or his staff. I highly recommend Dr. Costich for all of your OB-GYN needs. He is truly a wonderful doctor!
