I highly recommend Meadow Brook Animal Hospital. Dr. Hopkins and staff are very knowledgeable and caring. The perfect example: My beautiful cat Caesar was not acting normal, I called MAH whereupon I was told to bring him in immediately. He was in worst shape than I thought, Dr. Hopkins informed me his blood sugar level was over 350, this was back in 2008. Caesar stayed in the hospital for 4 or 5 days before he was able to go home. I later found out from Dr. Hopkins he/Caesar was at Deaths Door. Dr. Hopkins with her beautiful sensitive eyes told me he wasnt out of the woods as yet and must be monitored very carefully and given insulin twice daily. He lived a wonderful life of 17 years of age till his passing in February of this year. I know without Dr. Hopkins doctoring I would not have had this time with him or his sister Connie also now passed and a diabetic, at 16 without her ability to diagnose so wonderfully and accurately. I continue to bring my cat babies to her and have on many occasions referred friends to Meadowbrook Animal Hospital ... they are very caring and dont take advantage of cat parents generosity to pay for treatment. MAH is also reasonably priced. I highly recommend you visit and find out for yourself.

Having owned a verity of pets my whole life, I should think at my age, I could be credited with a knowledgeable background on veterinary services. After experiencing a verity of veterinarians within the local area as well as in Sufforlk County, I decided to bring my rescues to Meadowbrook Animal Hospital a decision I happily applaud today. Dr. Deborah Hopkins, the owner, is a compassionate and dedicated woman who lives and breathes for the good health of her patients; shes the real deal and wears her heart on her sleeve. Theres no wonder her associates Dr. Vanessa Diemer and Dr. Carrie Osterman share the same beliefs formulating an exceptional medical team. The technicians and office staff are another part of this well-oiled machine always helpful and cheerful, making the office visit less stressful on the pets and owners as well.

I got a puppy from a shelter (with attached hospital) that appeared to be healthy, but within a few days it became apparent that he was not. He spent almost a month at the shelters hospital, almost died. Got through that issue enough to come home but became similarly ill within a week. I took him to my local vet who was doing the routine care of my other pets (one I had just lost through cancer who had been lovingly cared for and eventually euthanized at MAH) and one step at a time (also caring for my pocketbook), we discovered what was really wrong with him and he was treated appropriately. This dog that I almost lost at least three times as a puppy, is now a happy healthy 70 lb animal, thanks to Dr. Hopkins and staff. I highly recommend MAH and have done so numerous times for friends.

Kandu, my 2 year old rottweiller, loves coming to the Meadowbrook Animal Hospital-and so do we. The staff there are always friendly, helpful, and informative. Whenever Kandu goes there, it is obvious how comfortable he feels with all the staff. They know how to handle him, inspite of his big 120 lb self. Kandu recently introduced his 2 feline baby brothers, Webster and Butch, who the staff handles with the same loving care and competence.

I love Dr. Hopkins! I believe she saved my Teddys life. Teddy was sick and she gave him excellent care. He recovered. Today, Teddy is 15 years old, happy and healthy. I think Dr. Hopkins is extremely knowledgeable and professional. In addition, Dr. Hopkins has a wonderful "bedside manner." All of the staff are warm, friendly, smart, kind, compassionate, and accommodating. I highly support your going to Meadowbrook Animal Hospital.

I had a wonderful experience at this hospital yesterday. Dr. Hopkins was very kind and warm. She answered my questions and I really appreciated that. I was able to give the hospital a donation so that someone else could receive financial help if they need it. My dog was well groomed and I was very happy with the result. I have been a client for 18 years. Getting fast appointments has never been a problem. The staff is friendly and efficient and the diagnoses are accurate. Their fees seem fair although Ive never compared them to any other Vet. The office is clean and the wait is usually short. The staff is friendly and compassionate.

I was pleased with the staff. The doctor was quick in the diagnosis and the prognosis of our beloved Teddy. I throughly was impressed mostly by the decorum and the professionalism from the doctor, assistance, receptionist, billing clerk to the young man who was mopping the floor. BTW the place smelled amazing.

My appt. was made the day of because of a sick pet. I was seen a few minutes before the appt. time and was treated fairly. I was given two options for treatment and the dog was treated with care and love. I am very please with the whole staff and their knowledge.

Both Mother and Daughter Doctors Hopkins are excellent and I trust them wholeheartedly. They are experienced, realistic, compassionate and the staff is incredibly supportive and helpful. We are grateful for their professional care of our pets (dog & cat).

The staff is friendly and attentive. Dr Hopkins is caring and knowledgeable. She called the next day with lab results as she promised. The office is clean. The only complaint is the price for a visit and labs but that comes with having a pet I guess

They dont push stuff on you to buy, they can work with you regarding on what you can afford and they do take great care of your pets. Compared to other places on Long Island, theyre EXTREMELY affordable. The staff there is also extremely kind.
