I first went to see Dr. Fisher 15 years ago. Not only does he have a beautiful personality but hes an excellent doctor/surgeon and very caring, as well as his staff. The receptionists are extremely professional and very friendly. Ive known Alicia for many years and since day one I have never seen her in a bad mood or with a bad attitude. Shes professional, friendly and funny. Ive never had a problem with her. Dr. Young is also a very, very nice lady. Shes very caring and very comforting. When the time came for my Cocker to no longer suffer, if not for her I would have been a big mess, she was very sympathetic and comforting. I however, do not recommend Dr. Conway, she never listens to what you have to say and talks over you. Not a good personality at all. I have 5 Cats and 5 Dogs, and I would not think of taking them elsewhere. I want the best for my babies and they are the ones that can give them just that. Thanks Dr. Fisher, Dr. Young, Alicia and staff

I rescued a stray cat last year named Bear. Hes a big guy and has FIV. since he was found he has had bad ear issues. other vets jumped on the idea that it must b e mites and treated him with pesticides and even multiple injections for mites. After a year it was time to get updated vaccine shots and neighbors recommended Islip Animal Hospital. They took such good care and made him feel loved! the doc checked his ears and told me that it was NOT mites but a bacterial infection FIV cats can be prone to getting. they gave him an ear washing and sent me home with anti-fungal ear drops. after 1 week he was doing so well! No more ear gunk and him scratching at his ears! he didnt love the drops but it was better than all the repeat shots and vet visits at the original place! so thanks Islip Animal Hospital for taking the time to properly diagnose poor Bears ear problems! We are both happier now and the new rabies vaccination lasts 3 years!

I would NEVER EVER bring any more of our dogs to the Islip Animal Hospital. for the time we brought our dog Tippy it was great BUT then we got a new puppy when Tippy passed away. I couldnt get to see Dr.Fischer who was a great vet but We where told he was only in on Mondays from 9 to 12 so we had to see other vets that when everything went down hill on Sept 9,2014 she was taken in do to the runs ect...! I got a call from Dr. Matt Siclari on 9/10/2014 at 9:00a.m. telling me our little girl (Tiny Bubbles) was DEAD he said he was feeding her and she had a stroke. I DONT and I NEVER WILL BELIEVE HIM. I hung the phone up on him and called my husband and was told something. DO I NEED TO SAY MORE? So If I where you I would think real hard before I took any animal to them. We will never ever go back there again. our baby was take away from us at the age of 8 years old

I wouldnt think of going elsewhere. Dr. Fisher has been our veterinary for over twenty five years. They are kind and caring people. The whole staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We just lost our dog Beau and they took such good care of him the whole time he was in the hospital. We live in Queens NY and it is a long drive to get there but to me and my family its worth the drive. I wouldnt go any where else. When Beau passed away Sunday 5/29/12 the vet tech call us to tell us how sorry she was and made us feel like Beau was just as important to them as he was to us. Thanks again to doctor Fisher and his wonderful staff.

We have just recently started going to this hospital - the doctors have been very kind and prices are reasonable only wish they would get another receptionist - I was very disappointed in their choice of receptionist, specifically alicia - she is very rude and has a horrible attitude. Its a shame because this is the only reason we would consider changing vets.

We have been a client of Dr Fishers since 1994. There is no other Doctor like Dr Fisher. He is honest, kind, thoughtful and caring. The same for his staff. Our Mugzi would have passed sooner if it was not for Dr Fisher. He saved his life. Our Fanci loves Dr Fisher too!! Thank you Dr Fisher for all you do for our loved ones!!! Your the BEST!!!

I have been taking my dogs to this vet for over 30 years. The staff is wonderful and the doctors are so caring and dedicated. I always know that my dogs are in the best of hands.I travel over 30 miles to see Dr. Fischer. What a great vet.

I love Dr Saclari (sorry if i spelled it wrong) he is so concerned about the animals.. id never go anywhere else and i have 9 cats Dr Fischer is the best as well good quality care

They are very kind with pets, even humans. Also there fees are more than fair, dont abuse of costumers selling tons of unnecessary items for pets. God bless them
