Avoid the dispensary! Though the eye docs are great at this practice, dont buy your glasses or lenses from their dispensary. You will, of course, be "gently pressured" to do so. But they took my money to make sunglasses which were clearly made with the wrong prescription, and they NEVER made good on their mistake. I am out hundreds of dollars for those glasses, and still without sunglasses. They simply refused to either correct their error or refund my money. The folks in the dispensary are not entirely competent, more intent on selling product than make sure your eye health is preserved. There are many eye health practices on LI, you can do better elsewhere.
