I like to give doctors a few visits before writing a review. So far, Ive had a cleaning and a filling with Salvatore, and my fiance has had a cleaning, a filling, and a deep-root cleaning. So I suppose its time for a review! I admit, I am always skeptical. It seemed almost too good to be true that, on my first visit, there was a hygienist actually waiting for me. I filled out my paperwork, and back I went for a cleaning. And to find out that my only two fillings needed replacing. Yay! This was fine, but all services require pre-payment in order to book an appointment, something the fiance was totally down with (he also owns a small business and understands how awful it is to get stood up by people who havent paid). I, on the other hand, had never experienced a policy like that, and it frankly took me off guard and was a bit off-putting. Especially as I read other reviews that indicate issues with over-estimation of charges and the trouble that causes when paying with an HSA (which I do). Even so, I went along with it, willing to give them another try. I went in yesterday for filling one-of-two, and it was probably one of the most delightful filling experiences Ive had thus far. I was offered headphones and a Roku to watch movies or TV until the procedure was over, but partway through I ended up muting the whole thing because Dr. Richard, Jr. and his assistant were cracking me up. Selfie with a dental dam, anyone? They worked quickly and with precision. This problem filling has cracked twice under the care of two different dentists, and here they were confident that if done correctly we wouldnt have this issue anymore (heres hoping!). They also painstakingly made sure that the bite was correct and the contact perfect. They wrapped up with before and after photos, and the results were crazy! Great job, guys. Also worth noting, they have a machine that Dr. Richard essentially likened to a "reverse 3D printer" that makes crowns. As in...they make their own crowns. On-site. Coming from a dentist (previously) that had to outsource the making of a simple retainer, this was shocking and awesome to me. Finally, to back up a bit, I have to give props to their guy who is in charge of insurance and billing, for his infinite patience. After the first few appointments with my fiance and myself, we found out that our insurance had been billed for all procedures under my name, and not his. Obviously, my immediate reaction was to fall back on the dentists office as they do the billing and I was already on edge about the pre-payment. But, as it turned out, it was actually an error on the side of my HR department and the insurance company, and all ended up being fixed, thanks to Justin(?) flagging the account. Oh, okay, one more thing. These guys understand how millennials/Gen Y work, and that is greatly appreciated. After I make appointments, I get several reminder emails, and even a reminder text the day-of. Basically, its impossible to forget your appointment. So...great job!

I feel confident having my family under their care. I wish I would have gone there exclusively from the beginning to get everything done right the first time. In addition to fixing mistakes my other dentists had made, Vera has fixed 6 of my teeth. Everything from start to finish was very pleasant and painless. Her and her assistant went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. Her calm gentle nature makes the whole process much more relaxing. Her technique while administering the local anesthesia was a painless experience. Vera is a very skilled dentist, she knows her stuff and enjoys it. Thanks to Vera and her amazing team, I can get my Denzel on this summer! Their staff is competent, professional and friendly. One of the elements of their practice that I appreciate is their respect for their clients. They understand that life happens and they treat you that way. In fact, I was ½ hour late to an appointment (Thats after a polite courtesy call letting me know the Doctor had finished up an appointment early and was available to see me earlier that originally scheduled) -- then, even after I arrived late, I was greeted with smiles, and they still honored the appointment - no questions asked! I highly recommending Salvatore Dental, they are a notch above the rest. If I could give them six stars - I would, they deserve it!

Two years ago today, I walked into Salvatore Dental as a new patient with an emergency appointment, courtesy of excruciating pain due to an abscessed tooth. From the initial phone call that morning to request an appointment to the conclusion of the office visit with Dr. Vera that day, I was so very impressed with the entire experience. Not only did I walk out of the office with a referral to a specialist for a root canal, but also with the realization that I had found a dental office I was excited about returning to. As a fearful patient, I felt so very lucky to have found a dental office that emanates kindness and compassion, with patient care being their top priority. Having had the incredible opportunity to become an employee of this office just a few months after my initial visit with them, I have seen that same kindness and compassion exhibited repeatedly by the entire Salvatore Dental team to their patients, as well as to each other. If youre considering making a change in your dental care options to Salvatore Dental, you can do so without hesitation. From genuine caring and compassion to cutting edge dental technology, this office encompasses the absolute best of everything.

I recently went to the dentist after not going for some time; needed a tooth fixed right away. I had the pleasure of meeting the Salvatores and they booked me within days of needing the appointment. The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming as soon as you walked in. I went for a cleaning and I left feeling refreshed and in no pain. I returned shortly after for fillings, Dr Salvatore took one look at the tooth I recently had cosmetic work on at a different dentist and said noway! He repaired the previously fixed tooth and made it look nearly identical the the one on the other side and left absolutely no rough surface. It felt great and bite was still good - cosmetically the Salvatores dont settle for just ok. I had about 3 or more other fillings he worked on that day, pain was minimal and he did whatever needed to make me feel comfortable. It goes without saying from my first experience with the previous dentist to all my appointments at Salvatore dental, I think Ill be sticking with the Salvatores. Thank you everyone at Salvatore Detal! Happy to say I feel comfortable to smile in pictures again!

My Appointment with Dr. Vera was very user-friendly and i didnt get scared by the usual dentist-office things that people like me are usually scared by, i was greeted very warmly and quickly seated in the chair and told to open wide like a crocodile. I was impressed by the extremely high tech equipment and digital x-rays which have less radiation exposure to the patient. Within minutes the beautiful assistant Jenna had my whole mouth x-rayed and on screen just like surfing the internet at school-- large view for each tooth and overview of all the problems and cavities in my mouth-- very impressed Dr Salvatore was very fast and cheerful which really made a difference in the whole experience overall - Dr Salvatore with blonde hair was very knowledgeable and friendly and imformative -- she is definately the perfectionist dentist that I wanted and needed - A very bubbly hygienist Emma cleaned my teeth, she did such good job that all the stains from heavy tea drinking for years dissapeared. Emma was very gentle and I feel like a new person! thank you guys!
