Was coerced into paying a $50 fine and being excused of lying about not cancelling an appointment 48 hours in advance, when I said I did. Was told if I didnt pay the fine myself and my 2 daughters who had appointments for cleanings would not be allowed to get our cleaning unless I paid $50. Thus I paid. Over the weekend I checked my phone call history and now have proof that I called their office on March 14 to cancel our 3 appointments that were on Marvh 24 and I rescheduled them for April 22nd. So over $50 they are no losing 3 patients which will cost them more than $50. Franco who handles their billing is extremely rude, condescending, and uses coresion tactics. I now have to waste my time at work to argue with them about getting credited the $50. Also many times when we come in for cleanings we are not always looked at by a dentist. My previous dentist always gave a checkup every visit . 2 years ago they scared my than 15 year old by sending her to their oral surgeon about her wisdom teeth which he looked at in 5 minutes or less and was like why are you here her wisdom were not dropped yet. If their dentists were competent they should have been able to know this from her X-rays and looking at her and not scare a 15 year old into thinking she needs oral surgeon. 15 is too young to have wisdom teeth removed. They seem more concerned about pushing other services to make money. I am in my 40s and the hygienist was asking me about my wisdom teeth. Only went there because not many dentists took my insurance. Now that I have different insurance will be going elsewhere.

This was the WORST experience! The doctors here push for unnecessary procedures, it is a warehouse decorated nicely! I can only warn you, do it at your own risk. The doctor who took care of me did not know how to do her job without a cone scan and advice from one of the other doctors. On my first visit I had to get a cone scan because I needed a root canal. According to her, she can not do it without it. When she was done with the root canal she scheduled me for the cleaning and stated I was fine. Three months later one of my molars chipped and when I went back she insisted on having ANOTHER cone scan done on the same side and a new set of ex-rays. I had to pay for second cone scan (it covered the same side and set of teeth as the first one). After looking at the cone scan she comes back stating I need two more root canals and a molar extraction (all right next to each other). She called another doctor to help her again and he stated that I had a MAJOR infection on that area. She said one of the root canals needed a specialist and the other one she could do. Stupid me allowed her to do the one she said she was able to do. While on the chair working on the root canal she then says to me "dont forget we also have to take out your wisdom teeth". Needless to say I got all my stuff, asked for my file and went to another doctor. This place is a nightmare! I asked her how is it she did not see this problem on my last visit and she replied "we were not concentrating on that area".

Only giving a one because it doesnt allow you to rate them lower. This practice is a bunch of thieves. Watch your insurance billing. They billed for sealants on my son that he NEVER received because as an educated parent, and having family members in the dental field, knew that putting sealants on baby teeth was pointless. our insurance only covers sealants once in a lifetime and each time my son had an appointment they hygienist pushed us to put on the sealants and that it would be at a minimal fee of $15.00 per tooth, each time I refused this service. Well now that my son is 12 and has his permanent teeth, we had the sealants placed with our new dentist as Orange County Dental was removed by the PBA as a provider for a myriad of reasons and we get notified by our new dentist that the insurance wouldnt pay for some of the sealants because they were previously billed. When calling the office you get put on the phone with the office manager who is the most obnoxious fool who refuses to let you speak and is extremely rude. He told me too bad, I couldnt prove anything and laughed. So they basically stole from the PBA. Would NEVER Recommend them and will be reporting them to the BBB and speaking to my attorney about the issue and reaching out to the attorney general for improper billing practices and fraud.

County Dental is the wosrt dental group Ive ever had to deal with...We have switched between 3 offices trying to get dental work completed for my husband, who has bad gums and needs surgeries every few years...INSURANCE SCAMMERS. Do NOT use any of these offices, Middletown just "lost" his appointment for the surgery he was supposed to have today. You wouldnt believe what I went through to get the appointment...The Suffern NY office did his first surgery and then canceled him when we showed up for the second half because they said the insurance never paid. They canceled us when we went there, didnt even bother to call us, and the insurance paid 2 months prior, they cant get their accounting together either..So I had to spend a whole morning on the phone to find out where the payment went and get everything fixed for them, then they cant even get it together to get his surgery done. I have never seen such incompetence from a medical office, I am so disgusted. These people could care less that my husband is going to end up in the hospital without this surgery, theyre just idiots. 3 days of work hes lost going to appointments that dont exist and they cant get ANYTHING right. Do yourself a favor STAY AWAY.

After waiting a two-week period for an appointment, I arrived to their office on time. As I approached the check-in counter, I was met with an empty clipboard and a staff of at least four inattentive workers. I stood there for several minutes as all ignored me, feigning a trance-like tunnel vision on their tasks at hand. These tasks included, making arrangements for a significant others car to be registered at the DMV, as well as weighing the severity of having ones purse stolen over having ones cigarettes stolen. All of this took precedence over attending to a patient. After waiting for a half hour, while observing others whose arrivals were subsequent to mine receive attention, I approached the counter again, and was reprimanded for being late, when I was in fact, punctual. The patient herder, not the goth girl with the tattoo on her neck, acted as if she would do me a favor by having me wait longer, and possibly "at least have some X-Rays." I can continue to express my complete dissatisfaction with the lack of service, but I believe that youve gotten the point by now. I am having this practice removed from the network of participating providers by my districts policy. Dont go there!
