Had my first visit with Dr. Mendelsohn last week - the entire office staff is amazing. Love when they know who you are when you walk in the door - even for a first time appointment. Questionaire on the iPad - no tedious paper forms to fill out. The waiting room was comfortable - but dont plan on staying there long, I was called back within 2 minutes of handing back my information. Lots of time was spent taking pictures and X-Rays, and finding out my history as well as what I was looking for. Even though my hopes were to have veneers for cosmetic reasons only, Dr. Mendelsohn was concerned about more about the damage I was doing constantly (night grinding) and preventing that first, than looking to make a quick buck doing the veneers. With 4 kids, Ive seen my share of Doctor and Dentist offices, but Ive never seen an office so well organized, where the entire staff not only is competent, but also happy to be doing their jobs. I may not be able to afford the veneers right away, but when I can - it will certainly be Dr. Mendelsohn and his super, professional staff I turn to, and until then, I am entrusting my smile in their capable hands ! And yes, I am a real patient, live right here in EHT, and I wasnt paid for this review. I just think that when someone does their job so very well, then their effort should be recognized, and when anyone needs a new dentist, or is thinking about having some cosmetic work done - this is the first and only stop youll need to make.

I would highly recommend giving this office a try. Whether looking for a new facility or ready for a change. This is truly the best dental office. The staff is wonderful. I have always been greeted when I walk in. I never had to wait more than a few minutes for my appointment. This tells me they respect my time. My hygenist Celeste is wonderful, she takes time to ask about my dental changes and a personal update. I actually look forward to having my teeth cleaned. Dr. Mendelsohn is great. He takes time to explains everything and to make sure you are comfortable. He has made the office very relaxing. From paint designs on the ceiling to bird feeders outside the window that you can watch from the dental chair. On my last visit I had a chance to use the massage chair they have in the waiting room. I was waiting for them to make my crown, they did it all in one visit, so I did not have to come back for another office visit. I never even knew that had a this chair because I have never had any wait time. This sure was a nice way to relax and past the time. What a great idea! I am getting ready to have some additional dental and the billing girl was wonderful in taking time to explain my payment options. Its so great to go to a place for service and not feel rush or like you are a bother to the staff. You should really try this place and find out first hand what I am talking about. You will be happy you did and will wish you would have done it sooner.

If you are looking for a new dentist, I would absolutely recommend Serenity Smile Designs. There isnt one person there who isnt wonderful to work with. Erica, who works at the desk, has been incredibly helpful any time I had to work through issues with my insurance. Ive been seeing Tina and Dr. Erik since they opened, and they are both AMAZING. I am always amazed how Tina remembers everything weve spoken about -- like I was there the day before instead of 6 months earlier! When I showed up for my most recent appointment, I was initially not too happy: First of all, I had to bring along my 4y/o and my 6y/o; secondly, my appointment was with someone other than Tina. Well, minutes into my time with Maria, I realized there was no reason to be concerned. She was equally as awesome. Since my daughters would both be attending their first dental appointment the following week, she explained everything she was doing, showing them all the tools. She even took the time after my teeth were clean to open a set of tools for each of them, count their teeth, and demonstrate some of the other things theyd see during their appointments. My older daughter, who was already worrying about her upcoming appointment left reassured that going to the dentist was the coolest thing ever. I left reassured that literally every person who works there is the best in their field!

I had a wonderful first visit experience! The assistants who took me back and started my appointment with x-rays and other routine tests were very nice, and were on top of everything that was going on in the office so no one had to wait long. The way they schedule appointments is very organized, so I didnt have to wait in between what needed to be done. I went from the routine first visit papers and tests, to my cleaning, and then to speak with Dr. Mendelsohn about his findings and the dental hygienists, Celeste, who gave me a very thorough teeth cleaning! She did the best teeth cleaning I have ever had. She explained everything as she went along, what she was doing as she cleaned, her findings, and what she felt may need to be looked at further by Dr. Mendelsohn. She even showed me how to floss properly, which was very helpful since I want to do it right, even if I think I already am I figured having a professional show me would be a good idea! She was very caring and said to floss daily, which I have been since my visit. She also explained some other things the office does, like the teeth whitening program they have. I am so glad I took the time and made the change to start coming here!

This was my first visit to this practice. I entered the office and found it pleasant and very modern. The reception was nice as I was handed an iPad to enter all of my information, goodbye pens and forms. Next I was led through the office to an exam room and was pleasantly surprised at how modern and well laid out this place. The dental hygienist Maria took me through a very comprehensive exam including medical questions that would be related to my teeth and gums. X-rays and photos of my mouth were taken. She took the time to show me around my mouth and pointed out areas of concern which werent too many, next followed the thorough cleaning that removed a lot of discoloration in my teeth. This was worth the price of admission! I was offered a program to by the practice to whiten my teeth which I quickly accepted. The final event in the appointment was the examination by the dentist Todd Frost. After the examination we came up with a plan to address the issues I had on a number of teeth in my mouth. Im really glad that I found this practice and know that Im under good care. It was a very professional experience and one I’d recommend to friends and family.

First let me say in the past I have had nothing but horrible experiences with my prior Dentist. Being scared to go to the Dentist already, of course when I walked in to Serenity Smiles I was nervous...but I was referred by a friend so I had hope. I was literally blown away but EVERYTHING about this practice. The building is beautiful, and has nothing but state-of-the-art equipment. Everyone is so sweet that it really makes it enjoyable to walk into the dentist office. Dr. Erik is honestly the best dentist I have ever had and will never go to another. The way he talks to you and describes the steps and next steps really made me feel so comfortable and I trusted him right from the start. He really cares about the outcomes for his patients, and thats hard to find these days. Tina is amazing as well! Great personality and really relaxed me when doing my cleaning and going over my xrays:) I would recommend this practice to anyone..and I travel from about 45 minutes away to get there! I am actually excited to go to the dentist now:) Thank you everyone..you guys are the best!!!!
