Dr. Steven Shoshany and his team tremendously helped me to go through the pain that I had in my lower spine as a result of a bulging disc on the L4-L5. I was in a great pain that sitting and walking for too long really hurt. My previous doctor initially recommended me to go to see a physical therapist, however, after two months I did physical therapy, I didnt feel any improvement. Then, I spoke to someone who previously had the same issue as me and recommended me to try spinal decompression. So, I started looking for this alternative treatment online and found several different places that offered this treatment, however, after reading Dr. Sho reviews and given the close proximity of his office location, I decided to pay a visit. Dr. Sho and his team were very friendly, welcoming and assertive and the office were very casual (doesnt feel like being in a doctors office) with good atmosphere. At first, they did the assessment by taking my x-ray and nerve test. There were all very thorough with what I should be expecting out of the treatment that they planned out very well for me (especially with the approach that they decided to take). I was also very impressed by their posture analysis. I worked closely with not only Dr. Sho as my Chiropractor, but I also worked with the physical therapist (for my rehab), M.D. (for any additional medication that I needed to take), massage therapist (relaxation of my muscle) and the posture-specialist (rehab for my posture). Together, they closely worked with me, to not only treat my bulging disc but also, to fix my bad posture and tense muscles that also contributed to my pain at that time. I had to take 5 weeks off of work and did my treatment 5 times a week.Slowly but gradually I improved and after 5-7 weeks of treatment, I was able to go back to my normal routine, but still going through physical therapy and rehab (3 times a week), in addition to the therapy that they told me to do home until now. Together as a team, they worked coherently well and they always assured me and gave me motivation to get better. They also welcome any feedback from me regarding the treatment, so they would know what worked out best for me (including scheduling and financing). In addition, when my mother came to town, Dr. Sho and his team communicated and explained it very well what the treatment really entailed, how I improved since I first came and gave positive assurance that I was in a good hand. Every time I had my visit at the Dr.s office, I felt that everyone was very supportive making sure that its not just my back that greatly improved, but they also helped me to cooping with the frustration Ive been dealing with since I was diagnosed. The whole team made my treatment that was planned out for more than 8-10 weeks felt like a breeze because every time I went, the positive attitude and encouragement played a great deal to my recovery. The most important thing was that after every treatment they made sure that I would stepped out feeling better and better. Now, I can have my normal life back.

I have been going to Dr. Shoshanys office for some time and am always grateful for the amazing experiences I have had there. I dont remember really ever waiting to be seen and if so it was only a few minutes or so...nothing to even think of. This is a really important point as Dr. Shoshany and his team truly are so respectful of patients time...a very fresh and welcome approach to office visits for sure! The office is super clean and the equipment is really state of the art. I stand on my feet all day for work and travel extensively doing volunteer work where I am doing a great deal of physical work as well. I have been shown great exercises and ways to use the foam roller by Dr. Swapnali there that have helped so much in maintaining my back health during these intense times. Recently I experienced an injury that caused so much back pain I could not function at all really. I could only be in bed or in a chair in certain ways or else the pain was quite difficult to handle. I could not walk upright and my right leg would give out from what seemed to be nerve pressure. I tried ibuprofen which helped a bit as well as other over the counter anti inflammatory products, but there was no relief. I went immediately to Dr. Shoshany and he and his team began their amazing work. Through chiropractic adjustments, therapeutic massage with Jackie who is the best, laser treatments, acupuncture and this amazing machine for spinal decompression the injury began to heal...and I can say that I am almost back to being 100% normal again in a relatively short period of time. The really great thing here is that all of the above mentioned treatments are available at Dr. Shoshanys office! You dont have to go to other places for anything that you may need in terms of other supportive treatments. There are even more ways to be helped at this office that Ive not experienced. I always feel like I am completely taken care of and I trust Dr. Shoshany and his great crew. They are always so professional and friendly and there seems to be a great cohesiveness among the team in the office for sure....Im really grateful to have found Dr. Shoshany and his team and will continue to be a patient for maintenance now as volunteer travel will start very soon. Thank you Dr. Shoshany and team for all of your great work and care! You guys are the BEST!

I went to see Dr. Shoshany and Dr. Novosel, because I was looking for a comprehensive, postural approach to address my neck pain and related symptoms. Ive had neck pain for about twenty years (sinch high-school) and over the last ten years or so I had tried many things - traditional chiropractic, lots of massage, home exercises, etc. I would usually get some relief, but the benefits were always short-lived. While I had learned to live with the neck pain, about two years ago I started getting headaches, dizziness, and visual problems. As they progressed these new symptoms really affected me. I was forced to get special glasses for my eyes, so I could read without getting immediately dizzy. They offered some relief, but my reading ability was still greatly reduced (as was my productivity at work). After the first few visits I noticed the daily pain and stiffness I would experience upon waking up was greatly reduced. By the end of the 2nd week, I was sleeping much better and had much more energy throughout the day. Im in my fifth week of care and a little over a week ago, I noticed that texting and reading emails on the train didnt make me dizzy anymore. A few days later I realized that wearing my glasses actually made things worse. I no longer wear my glases and I havent had a headache or gotten dizzy in weeks (and I probably had been experiencing 2-3 pretty strong headaches per week for at least the last year). I cant say enough positive things about what they do at their office. In addition to Dr. Shoshany and Dr. Novosel, Dr. Cortes and the physical therapy staff have been awesome. The office runs like clockwork. They never keep me waiting and everyone carries themself very professionally. Im a big proponent of natural health-care in general, but not all natural health-care is created equal. Dr. Shoshany and Dr. Novosel and their team are absolutely a cut above.
