I have severe multilevel degenerative disc disease, and after having several flare ups over a brief period, I revisited my orthopedic. After another MRI, he was recommending a spinal fusion of my lumbar spine, but couldnt guarantee that it would work. I called Dr. Epstein at the recommendation of a friend who had visited with him and testified to the way he runs his practice- with honesty and integrity. After a long and detailed phone consultation with the good doc, he asked me to come in so he could go over my MRI in detail, do a thorough physical exam, and let me know if he thought he could help me to avoid having surgery. When I got off the phone, I was immediately at ease, and I knew he would tell it to me straight--- I knew he genuinely cared about how I was doing and how I would do, and that he would be honest with me. During his extremely detailed exam, he asked me lots of questions and situations regarding my condition-- things such as "Where were you when... What were you feeling when.. How did you move when... Did you feel like this when..." He literally spent almost an hur and a half meticulously detailing my entire history-- never interrupting me, listening to everything I had to say, and soaking it all in. I believe this, in tandem with the skill and knowlege and experience that Dr. Epstein has, is what has led to my successful treatment thus far. When we were done reviewing everything, the doctor was frank with me and let me know that he wanted to try to help me with my problem, but he wasnt quite sure if I had gotten to see him a little bit too late. Because I wasnt in any immediate danger in terms of motor function, he asked me if I would give him 4-6 weeks to see where we could get using spinal decompression. He explained how it would work and what it would entail. After my first three visits, as I was driving home one night, I was sitting in my car and I thought to myself "Oh my goodness.... I have NO PAIN right now!" That was something I hadnt been able to say in years! Although it was short lived, I wept with happiness that night because I knew there was hope. I have to say 6 weeks later, as I type this, I am lying in bed free of the crippling leg pain I had suffered with for the years before I saw him. Leg pain, numbness, and tingling that even PT couldnt fix. Horrible spasms in my back and neck-- pain that kept me in bed some days unable to get up, now greatly diminished and much more manageable. I see Dr. Epstein 3 X a week, and I look forward to each and every visit. It feels like home in the office, it feels like the doc is your close friend, and you know he is taking care of you. While I have my bad days here and there, I know that had I not visited with Dr. Epstein, I probably would have underwent a spinal fusion at the age of 34. Now I am able to play with my kids again and have periods where I feel no pain. I am blessed to know him and have met him. If you are looking for a great chiroprator- look no further. Dont even read another review for another Dr. CALL THIS MAN...He is an angel :)

I’m 34 years old and started experiencing lower back pain from a nasty fall when I was 13 years old. However, I just completed my first Triathlon and I’m in the best shape Ive ever been in my whole life. I couldnt have achieved this level of fitness and lower back comfort without the help of Dr. Epstein. Throughout my seven month training Ive been seen on a weekly basis. The personal care he provides along with his knowledgeable and friendly staff makes for productive sessions each time. Thank you Dr. Epstein!!!!!!!

I started going to Dr. Epstein 3-4 months ago when I was 20 weeks pregnant. I was having bad hip, back and neck pain...mostly from the pregnancy. It didnt take long until my pain went away! Im still going at 33 weeks and feel great. Once I have the baby we can focus on other areas of pain. I highly recommend Dr. Epstein. I also take my 5 year old son to him because he was born with torticollis and he LOVES "Dr. Bones".

Again it is actually Andrew Weiss. It was 3 weeks since my last appt. and I was not doing great. Dr Epstein knew exactly what to do without causing any pain or discomfort. Dr Epstein is wonderful!!!! I went in with lots of pain and herniated discs issues. After many adjustments and unique pressure point treatments...Im feeling grrrrrreat!!!
