I am not very happy with my provider Dr. Lurie, he has no bed side manner I say this because, I recently fractured my spine and I am having a great deal of pain and he told me that he would not help me with my pain he told me to go to pain management to get injections why would I do that when my back is broken I asked him for a short course of pain medicine and he looked at me like I was drug seeking and he said no he would not temporarily help me would pain medicine I think its because my last doctor wrote something in my chart but he should not judge me based on my chart it isnt right I felt like saying to him have you ever fractured your spine do you know what it feels like every one is different some ppl can deal with pain and some cant he needs to learn that

I went to Manhattan Square (U.R. Medicine) today and the large waiting room was completely empty. Not one other patient, just staff. My new doctor informed me that EVERY patient has to be drug (abuse) tested whether their insurance pays for it or not. I am a retired Child Protection worker, and grandmother. I feel strongly that I, and MOST people would benefit from Medical Personnel that presumes you are a person of integrity and partner in excellent medical care, rather than a dirty drub addict receiving care from a facility run like a methadone clinic or drug rehab center. Glad the waiting room was empty Yikes!!! Today was my LAST visit.

Id recommend them to anyone who needs a new doctor. Staff is open to collaborate with you as the patient on whats best for your medical path. They are very reassuraning and take your concerns to heart and help you navigate through them. I have peace of mind with them. I know Im in good hands.

Dr. Was good, office help has no experience dealing with insurance company, to get a MRI approved. And Dr. Says it could be life threatening. Cant depend on that office to get things done, had to get it approved myself.

For a brand new office, they are highly organized and efficient. Dr. Lavender is top notch, empathetic and knowledgeable. I love this office.
