How pathetic! Deb Balleit is the one who messaged me to call her and talk about her #alernativefacts and #fakenews and is leaving reviews for her own business. She needs to be fired. You lied about killing someones cat, fired a girl for trying to save it and are only digging your own grave of lies. Maybe if you actually owned up to the truth and supported the owner INSTEAD OF BLOCKING HER after a challenging time for their family that YOU created for killing their Snuggles THEN LIE ABOUT IT you might have gotten some respect! you cant pin this on one "disgruntled former employee" either when there are many people coming forward---both and employees and adopters---now about your sick practices and your temp tests that dogs fail and are euthanized for--including litters of puppies. Spaying pregant cats and animals with diabetes--sooo many comments on Hannas post from past employees talking about how god awful you people are. How do you sleep at night knowing you murder animals for a living? You must be so proud of your accomplishments in life. Bunch of heartless half wits.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am not someone who wants to interject themselves into other peoples business. However, having a great love of horses and especially race horses and witnessing the idiotic choices made by people who currently have less love of horses then they have for money really bothers me. As people who are in charge of determining whether Racing continues on a hot day at Saratoga seem to be unable to make a rational decision concerning the safety of the animals I suggest the following. Every race race day that the weather is predicted to be above 85 degrees Fahrenheit these people should be made to run at least half way around the track prior to the race so that they can experience weather conditions first hand. I am sure after a couple of experiences doing this they will be much more concerned about horses racing in weather above 85 degrees.

Left several voicemails about adopting a particular older cat over the span of a week to both the adoption coordinator and the main desk. Never received a call back, despite leaving my number clearly several times. Finally able to visit in person during business hours and was still able to adopt that particular cat within an hour with no hassle, although I was surprised that she was still there. They even lent me a plastic cat carrier when my new pet attempted to tear her way out of the cardboard one. Toys and beds seem to be cheaper here than at a pet store, and they accept donations of pet supplies and food. Overall I had a great experience in person but the phone thing just really irritated me. While I was in the office I observed the front desk answering the phone multiple times, so I know it works.

People are nice. My husband brought home a kitten and I already have 10 + cats. I eventually brought her there and they wisked her away and wouldnt let me say goodbye. Also, one if my cats got loose and someone brought her there. They really gave me a hard time about getting her back. I had to show them pictures, doctors records, and I still had to pay them 100 $$$ for MY OWN CAT. When I flipped out they finally gave her back to me. Im not too thrilled with them. The Spay and Neuter clinic is absolutely wonderful. It us Not part of Animal Protective. I would advise checking out other shelters. This place will euthanize if an animal has ring worm, which is easily treated. Thats really pathetic. Be warned.

I saw Scotts post. So let me get this straight.You push •••adoptable••• animals to be with owners that dont want them and guilt them into keeping them. How is that a healthy situation for the animal or owner? Yet when a girl wants to adopt a sick cat and take over its care regardless of whatever your diagnosis is--you turn her down and fire her. What goes through your heads that makes any of this ok? You kill more animals than you adopt out and you think YOU are the heros when nice people come in and save these beings from your hell hole. The public rescues, the public saves, you lock animals in cages waiting for death row and praise yourselves for what others to do.

This place is horrible do yourself a favor and dont donate your money to this people. They killed snoggles and are working very hard covering it up. To the point they wont let people ask about it on FB and removed the rating option in FB and removed blocked anyone that question their practices. Also asking Yelp to removed the negatives reviews. If an organization is not doing anything wrong why are they working so hard on keeping this wonder cover? Ask yourself are they hiding ever more wrong stuff from the public? Stay away from here, also keep your animals way from this place. Half of the people that run this place guiltiless asses.

Went to adopt my cat back and they insisted I had the wrong cat. Who are they to tell me who ny cat is or isnt. Same physical features u cant deny that. Im very upset one of my neighbor let my baby go outside and they were like oh give him time to come back, hes been gone for a week already and was found .7 of a mile away from my home and yet they are still insisting hes not mine. Very poor customer service I would not recommend to go back there ever again.

They are unprofessional and quick to euthanize. They have spayed pregnant cats and killed the kittens. They will lie to cover their ass, they will euthanize a "stray" pet and claim it was requested by owner then when the owner finally finds out the APF does everything in their power to show the owner "lied." They have had complaints of spayed or neutered animals getting horrible infections because of neglect.

Very quick to euthanize. Actually, a story just came out recently on how they euthanized a familys pet cat while the family had fliers up looking for the cat. A lot of dirty-work behind the scenes goes on and theyve been shaken by the recent exposure. Take a look at their Facebook page- They removed the section where people can write reviews. That should speak for itself.

Guilted me for bringing aggressive cat back after working with him for 3 months. Amanda was rude and disrespectful when I brought him in giving me the third degree. NEVER guilt someone for returning a cat or dog because it makes you a "BAD" shelter. I would NEVER adopt an animal from this HORRIBLE shelter again.

Best dog trainers! The trainers are so knowledgeable and truly love training. The trainers here are the only ones to get my difficult dog to listen. Great training and they take it serious. Also great place to rescue a pet or make a donation to.

Terrible workers. My cat was lost and a lady found him and brought me here and they wont give me my car back when I have proof of ownership. They are all rude ladys and we making me pay for him back when I already paid multiple other times
