My daughter went in for a consultation, where she was told for X services rendered the cost was Y. The appointment was subsequently scheduled. She showed to the appointment for what was to be stage 1 of her treatment, I was then called for payment: this is when I was informed that the bill was Y + ..... an extra charge had been added after the fact and not agreed upon prior to the work being completed. At this point I verbalized my confusion and exclaimed that this was bad business. The secretary then decided to tell me that she doesnt appreciate me questioning her business. Im a consumer, thats my right! And this is a clear case of bait and switch. Dr. Hoskinson called me after hours and started the conversation with "I hear you have something to say to me", isn’t that just extremely unprofessional and thuggish. He then stated that he would not see my daughter again to finalize what he had started. I highly recommend going to a different Orthodontist due to his unprofessional nature and billing practices. I am utterly disgusted at the way he conducts his business.

When choosing a doctor, dentist, orthodontist, or any other professional, you want what is best for your family. Dr. Hoskinsons office not only provides your family with the best orthodontist, you receive the best care from his staff. When you walk into the office you feel like you are going to a family members home. EVERYONE has a smile to give. EVERYONE is greeted by name. EVERYONE is treated like family. The office is FUN. They make scheduling extremely easy to fit your schedule. They work with your insurance company so you dont have to :) They work WITH you to develop a payment schedule. They make every visit fun for the kids with monthly contests. They support our troops ( huge plus for me).The office of Dr. Hoskinson is truly the best experience for your family!!

I was referred to Hoskinson Orthodontics by a friend after going to an initial visit at a practice in Albany. I am so happy that I chose to have my daughter get her braces at Hoskinson Orthodontics. The atmosphere is so amazing. The entire staff are friendly. Dr. Hoskinson explains everything in depth but at a level that you completely understand the whole process. He is also very kind and fun. My daughter feels at ease here. There is also a great integrity within the practice. My daughter will probably only need to wear braces for a year and the practice will only charge you for the time you receive treatment. There is not a flat fee!!! I love this...I had already chose to join this practice so this was a great bonus when I found out

Hoskinson Orthodontics is our familys number one choice. Dr. Hoskinson and his whole staff are extremely knowledgeable, supportive and friendly. They take great care in making both parents and patients feel comfortable and informed. There is always a creative theme to keep patients interested and engaged- photo ops, contests, etc. The atmosphere is positive and upbeat. Our experience there continues to be first rate and we highly recommend this office to anyone in need of orthodontic work. As an added bonus, Dr. Hoskinsons hoops accuracy is undeniable and always a highlight!

My family absolutely loves Dr. Hoskinson and staff. They are considerate, caring and friendly. Anytime an issue came up, we called and got right in for an adjustment or any other issue. The payment plans are easy to do. The office is very accommodating. The always have contests to keep my kids involved and help them realize that wearing braces arent so bad. They are easily located in Scotia. The kids loves to challenge Dr. Hoskinson if he can "dunk it" . I would recommend them anytime.

Both my daughter and son were referred to Dr. Hoskinson by our dentist and many family friends. He is incredibly professional and ethical. His staff members are knowledgeable and incredibly welcoming and warm. Dr. Hoskinson answers all your questions and treats each patient as an individual. He monitors patients thoroughly and never encourages hardware that is not needed. We are so fortunate to have been referred to him. We trust in his expertise and knowledge.

My slow growing son was first seen by Dr. Hoskinson in 2003 because his teeth were crowded. Finally, in 2009, baby teeth were gone and his mouth had finally grown.. Dr. Hoskinson informed us hat there was no longer any crowding and orthodontics were not needed. Thank you, Dr. Hoskinson
