So its been 8 weeks since initial appointment where I was givin x-Ray in which they took me on an emergency visit which they had a appointment within 5 days they said teeth had to be removed and had to get insurance to approve and insurance did with in 10 days 6 to be exact. A Dr. Markowitz called to get me in and tell me they had the approval which I new had come already about 11 days earlier, we set appointment for next month, that is when I chose to read reviews and A lot of them spoke of rescheduling ( which would suggest over booking of clients ) but giving excuses as docs on a holiday, doc had personal/family emergency, doc was sick, so that got me worried but I didnt hold against them. Anyway I waited and sure enough with in 18 hours of appointment I was rescheduled with a doc sick excuse expect the secretary gave me the wrong doctor I was to see which made no sense I was to see another doctor and secretary gave me an attitude fit for a corrections officer not a dental office. Now I have appoint almost a month away with a infected abscess and the closet they got is a month away ( your thinking what about the emergency initial visit) nope a month away so I will have to go to the hospital or my primary care physician to treat it but I will have already went through a course of antibiotics by next appointment so they should be able to pull that day. Any how I will let you know how my journey goes every step of the way instead of just the end result but from what I think they get clients in to have insurance approve of work then ride them along the entire 6 months because thats how long insurance gives approval and you cant get the work done anywhere else unless the doctor release the approval to a new dentist which they might take 6 months to do anyway, so insurance clients sit and suffer while cash clients are in and out. And you can tell which reviews are real and which are not, people generally dont talk like public relations reps using words like "positive envirement" that just sounds foolish. This review is long overdue. We started going to AB Dental last year and every single time my husband and I have had a wait time of over 30min. Sometimes, we even wait 2+ hours with little to no reasoning by the front desk. We have always been more than pleasant and understanding. Over the past few weeks though I feel like the service we have been getting have been less than acceptable. My husbands crown was too big, and as a result an infection formed in his mouth. When he called about the emergency situation he was told he could not come in for three days. Then, he waited an hour and a half for them to not even treat him because of the infection he informed them about. When he went back, the crown was put on too big AGAIN - and he had to go back, waiting another two hours for the situation to be remedied. When he asked about the wait time, it was brushed off. Upset I called to ask for a proper explanation and Terry at the front desk was more than rude when speaking to me. I have worked in customer service, and deal with the public on a daily basis and she did nothing to even attempt to make the situation better. She came back at me with a strong attitude and did not listen to me when I spoke about his infection and ongoing issues. She made excuses that there is no communication between the back and the front. When going to a healthcare office, I assume communication and value to patients should be put first. AB dental has none of that. I do not recommend this dental office to anyone who wants quality timely care and to be treated with respect.

Zero star to this establishment if there was an option. They ripped the wrong tooth out of my husband mouth. he came in as an emergency on a tooth they wound up not working on. so when we called back a month later and said the original problem tooth is cracked and cutting his mouth open we need to come in right away, we were told to wait a month because "thats not an emergency" REALLY?! it was the first time to you! The girl on the phone was nasty, of course she didnt introduce her name when she picked up the phone. I tried to make an appointment for my husband because he was working, and because I said it would not work for us to wait a month, she told me "actually I shouldnt even be speaking to you, your husband needs to call". in other words, didnt want to deal with me because I told her that waiting a month on a pain causing tooth is an emergency and we needed to be seen sooner. the lady proceeded to say "to be honest, he should have made an appointment to come back when he was last here" oh yeah... because thats his job right? NO thats what you get paid to do, you need to tell your patients at their visits that they need to schedule a recheck or follow up. EXTREMLY UNPROFFESSIONAL ALL AROUND AND THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE WEVE EVER EXPEREINCED. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!!! Ive made it known to all friends, family and social media to never go here and will continue to do so.

DONT GO!!! I was advised to have molars pulled for a partial denture that was to be affixed to 2 canine teeth, then advised that one of those needed to be removed. After that healed I was told they could no longer make a partial and there was nothing else they could do for me. When I questioned why I was advised to remove the tooth that was to hold the partial I was told I was informed of the problem when Loretta was advising me of options involving the sale of crown to hold that tooth together ($600 to $800 dollars, that would not be covered by my insurance, but we CAN set up a payment plan, thank you very much). There WAS NEVER ANYTHING said about not being able to have the partial afterwards!!!! I told Loretta this and was told I "was delusional", I was also accused of cursing. After being in business and closely dealing with customers for over 30 years its pretty safe to say that would NEVER happen! I called back one last time to try to book an appointment to have a consultation with the dentist "Dr Tom" (Thomas Riutta) and again was told (by Loretta) that HE said there was nothing else he could do so there would be no consultation! If after this you do decide to go to this outfit I can only wish you good luck! Im taking steps to have this matter addressed legally!

My experience at this dentistry was horrible. They gave an appt because I was in so much pain. I got there ten minutes before my appt and everyone who walked in after me was seen before me. I waited for a hour and I also was considered an emergency case. The staff walk around like they arent getting paid too be there. There not friendly. The supervisor isnt professional. The staff dont seem too communicate so imagine the room for error. I will never go back. This is my personal experience & it was a disaster. The nurse took my x rays and the docter didnt take the right tooth out so Im currently still in pain. He had the nerve to ask me which tooth to take out.. Like duh the one that has me in pain which was also infected .This place is a joke. The supervisor wouldnt give me her name. & the nurses said come back when isnt there to give me her name. The supervisor thinks people should kiss her ass and the nurses walk around looking mean.. I havent been to a dentist in years & they traumatized me.
