Office is tiny and stuffy, gives a very much crowded feel especially when theres 15 people in the waiting room, some with children. In fact, since I mentioned children I might as well disclose what I saw: the doctor called in a lady with three daughters. She left the door open so the entire waiting room saw the girls take turns lying down and being examined. She did not introduce herself to the mother until after the girls were done, and the "introduction" was a quick "Hi how are you Im Dr. Venterina" before shoving them out the door and calling the next patient. As for my review, allow me to explain how I camr across this horrific dentist. My insurance had stopped covering my previous dentist, and I was in need of a cleaning so I looked up dentists that are covered by my insurance, and Venterina was one of the first to come up. So here I am. I had a two hour wait and when I was finally called down, all I got was x-rays when I specifically stated that I came for a cleaning. When I brought this up to Venterina, she told me a separate appointment had to be made for cleaning. Okay, take the x-rays that I didnt even WANT/NEED, but dont clean? Now I know every doctor runs his or her office differently, but I have never heard of that in my entire life. In fact, to me it just seems like a money-fueled tactic. The more appointments = the more money she can squeeze from insurance companies. Will never return.

This Doctor is a scam artist, I made the appointment for my wife because she was having severe pain. I called and made sure that they took my insurance, i was told they did. After waiting two and a half hours in the smallest waiting room i have ever seen, My wife was seen and was told that she would need 18 yes 18 root canals, a wisdom tooth removed and some antibiotics for an infection. The Doctor then tried to get my wife to finance 5500 dollars worth of dental work, my wife told them that we have insurance and that we never pay for the dentist. The Doctor told her that these were mandatory copay charges that everyone has to pay. We did not believe her so we left and went for a second opinion, and unbelievably my wife only needed one root canal and one tooth removed, and we paid nothing because are insurance covered everything. If you are looking for a dentist stay away from this one she is a scammer.

My boss had recommended me to Dr. Venterinas office where I had been seen by Dr. Berger when I had an ongoing toothache for almost 3 months. My prior office couldnt seem to get the issue right after countless visits. Yet, Dr.Berger caught the problem in a matter of seconds and had given me a root canal relieving my pain almost instantly after 3 months of constant pain. I have been a client of the office ever since in the Hylan Boulevard location and have received nothing less than the best service. I could not thank Dr. Venterina, Dr. Berger, Lauren, Alyssa and all other office staff enough for all they continue to do for me.

An office that hold true to its name... All members of the staff were extremely well versed in all aspects of dentistry and they were very professional. It was all smiles at the front desk and whenever my eyes met a staff member they engaged a polite "hello!" or wave. The receptionist went over the procedure for that day and it was just as she said. Dr. Venterina was very compassionate and thouroughly examined my mouth and xrays. The young assistants were surprisingly dedicated to their work and had my x-rays done in seconds! I will definitely be a returning patient to Dr. Venterinas practice.

I can not say enough about Dr Venterina and her staff. Not having visited a dentist in several years and then having a medical condition that effected my teeth, I walked into their offices with a mess. They treated my fear of dental procedures with compassion and professionalism. From the receptionists to the dental professionals everyone was so understanding and supportive. They accommodated my unpredictable work schedule which is not easy to come by. They have basically cured me of my dental fears which I have had since childhood. I would highly recommend this service to anyone.

I have been to multiple dentists over the years. Finally, I have found a home with Doctor Venterina and her super friendly, welcoming, and professional staff. The practice is a "one stop shop" for all your dental needs, whether it be a root canal, extraction, implant, fillings, cosmetics, or a cleaning to name just a few. The equipment and technology is all state of the art. Trust is so important with any doctor, and Dental Excellence in my opinion is the most trusted dental practice I have experienced.

Since Ive changed dentists a few years ago And started coming to Dr. Venterina at a Center for a Dental Excellence Ive had nothing but the best dental care and treatment! Dr. Venterina is very thorough and not only remedies the current problem but also helps to prevent and treat gum problems that may cause future problems. The staff at the Staten Island office is awesome and knows me personally when I call. They are knowledgeable and therefore always very helpful!

Just had an overall awesome experience at this office. The staff was nice, and the assistant and Dr who performed the simple procedure (Im a scaredy cat of needles) were extremely patient and gentle with me. I also had the least painful cleaning ever ! I cannot express enough how nice, down to earth, gentle and patient everyone is. I am glad to make this office my dentist of choice , and highly recommend anyone to give them a shot also.
