My wife and I have been going to Staten Eye Land for about 15 years. We would never go anywhere else for glasses. They are by far and away the best in NYC. They have a tremendous collection of one of a kind frames, designer frames and others you cant get anywhere else. Totally professional and they go out of there way to please. We live in Nevda now but still send away our scripts and trust Alan to help us with frames too. Now thats what I call total trust. He knows us and would never sell us anything that didnt look good on us.

I must admit Alan is a professional expert when it comes to eyewear and care. I/we have been loyal customers for more than 25 years and our last encounter was by far, the most satisfying. Yes, the frames are great style and quality, comfortable and attractive and the price is high end but the service is lifetime with a joke and a justification for the why & how of the bottom line. Always loved the location on victory but this location was less than helpful. They charged an outrageous fee of 140 for a contact exam. Previously was only 75 without insurance. When I returned for the contact lens follow up they had lost my file. Was told they would call me when they found it...no call 1 month later. A complete waste of money and extremely disappointing.

These guys are the best. Every time I go, Alan looks at my face for about 5 seconds, then from the thousands of glasses on the wall, picks a handful that all look great on me. Its an art form, and theyre wonderful at it. Everybody there is hilarious and jokes around while helping - it really makes the experience fast and fun.
