We took our son here (4 years old) for a consult and they filled 3 cavities on 3 separate occassional because he wouldnt cooperate and was very scared/nervous so it was impossible to do it all at once. Today we took our son back just for a cleaning and Val the dental hygienist was not the friendliest and basically had the personality of a dead weed when working with him. Had a stone cold face the whole time and handed him a bag with a toy and a toothbrush like she couldnt be bothered. The cleaning consisted of her brushing his teeth for 1 minute just like i do at home and flossing a few teeth. She said she would do xrays but we declined since he was already upset. Then the doctor comes in and proceeds to tell me they are not going to fill his remaining 4 cavities because he doesnt cooperate and the laughing gas wont work on him because he is too young. They gave me a referral to somewhere for IV sedation and tell me to only come back for cleanings. Give me a break! Then when you have to deal with the front desk they are also not friendly and never greet you or even notice you are there. And if you have to ask them something its like you are bothering them. Absolutely a bad experience today and i will never go back. Its a shame because there were a few girls on the staff that were actually sweet to him and treated him so nicely. They dont seem to be so willing to work with a child who is scared and has a hard time having instruments and drills shoved into his mouth. They would rather refer him to someone else. They can keep their nasty attitudes....very disappointed!

Very bad first time experience starting with the receptionist, I felt like I wasnt welcomed, I stood there for about 3 minutes before I was noticed than with two small kids running around, the receptionist area wasnt so kid friendly and the space was so damn small & claustrophobic!!! Anywho my son was seen first and the Dentist didnt even get his name but he saw my son and what not and basically shood us away my husband missed half the session due to tending to our daughter and when he came back to ask questions the Dentist seemed annoyed. My daughter was seen next by a nicer dentist but was screaming her lungs out so I couldnt even hear half of what the dentist was saying other than asking me to leave my daughter to her dad so she can talk too me (rude) because youre a pediatric dentist you should be able to be used to this. Anywho, all 4-5 receptionists were snotty and RUDE!!!!!!!! Especially the one in the back I stood like an idiot for 8mins before someone told me I needed to go around to make an appt for my son, they are rude and obnoxious!! Now I am a DA myself and Id never be as rude as these woman, thats why you get paid for !!!! You dont even deserve 1star! NEVER GOING BACK HERE AGAIN AND MY SON WILL HAVE HIS FILLINGS SOMEWHERE ELSE FRIENDLY! HIRE PEOPLE WHO ARENT RUDE AND MAKE YOUR OFFICE AREA MORE CHILD FRIENDLY !

Very friendly dentists and nurses my children were not scared they tell you exactly what they are going to do before they do it. Make it so comfortable for the child before they work on their teeth they make jokes with them and make it fun and happy. Theyre teeth were horrible starting off and now no cavities! CON- because there always is one! The lady at the front desk I asked her can I make appt and she said "theres a sign that says make the appt inside" and then she said to her colleague when I turned around and said "maybe I should write it on my forehead". Well maybe you should baby girl! Otherwise we love that dentist office!!! And I love you too front desk lady even though youre mean!!! Peace and love ✌

Awesome dentist but yes the front desk has a poor attitude. My son has Autism . They also need to tell you upfront the laughing gas is 80.00 dollars not after the fact. I went to pay a bill only to get pushed onto another dentist due to DR K is not working out the Whitestone office??? You would have to travel to Ronkonkoma to see him. Over a hour from me! I prefer my son have one dentist only he is on the Autism spectrum. Consistency is key. They other office in Suffolk has a snotty over the phone attitude. Do I really want to travel over a hour to deal with this in person? The dentist is awesome and maybe hes not aware of his front end status. Hes only human he is a parent like us as well.

Amazing staff, clean and kid friendly environment. My children love this practice and often advertise to their classmates about the Nickelodeon channels on flat screen tvs in each room and best of all the treasure chest of toys. A parents dream office, a happy child comfortably getting teeth cleaned and staying still is a blessing. The moment we walk in we feel at home with the warm smiles that welcome us. The staff is amazing with children, very patient and soft spoken making my little ones comfortable and happy. The staff are beautiful inside and out.

Dental hygienist instead of the dentist made determination that my 2.5 y.o needed enamel treatment on 4 teeth. The dentist didnt even bother to double-check. Front desk people have an obnoxious "tude". They hate when you ask questions, which they equate with questioning their judgement. Do your kids a favor, keep them away from these unpleasant and unhelpful types.

Scandalous!! The only reason I got here is because of the dentist but everyone else has attitude problems. I called 20 mins before my appt to let them know Im coming late and I had to deal with 4 people about the fact I came in 10 mins late and may not be seen. But I called to let them know!!!

Very disappointing..had an appointment 9am, by some magical wand they believed my appointment was 9:30 am. Was the first one here but now I am the last one, with no apologies.. would not recommend if you are a stickler for time..my last visit
