My experience at this clinic was so bad that I never actually had the procedure done for which my primary care doctor referred me to this clinic. At my initial appointment, I was told that my insurance would cover the procedure in full (colonoscopy). I was also given a sheet of instructions for what to eat (or not) leading up to the procedure. A couple week prior to the scheduled procedure, I called to confirm that insurance would cover it. Well, they werent sure. They would check. They called back and said that insurance would not cover it. OK, "approximately how much out of pocket" for this, so I know what to expect? "We cant say for sure". I emphasized that Im not looking for an exact amount, but an approximation of how much I will personally be liable for. "It varies. We cant say". Seriously? They said the would check and get back to me. Well, OK. I also asked "what can I expect, specifically, on the day of the procedure?". They replied "what do you mean?". I said "I want to know exactly what to expect. Are you sedating me? How long will it take? Should I expect pain? etc, etc, etc, etc. She put me on hold while she retrieved one of their nurses. Again, I emphasized that I would like to know what to expect in order to prepare myself for the procedure. "Well, what do you need to know?" she replied. I said "Everything....again....are you sedating me, etc, etc". She acted very put out that I was wasting her time with these seemingly trivial questions. After not hearing back on the insurance issue for several days, I called to check in. Left a message with a receptionist and she said someone would call me back. Two days later I hadnt heard from anyone. I called and left three (3) more messages. After all this frustration, I was certain that an office that didnt have their s*** together certainly couldnt be trusted to run a scope up inside me to have a look-see. I left a final message to call me to confirm that I was CANCELLING the appointment for the procedure. I actually DID get a return call after that message. I am currently looking for another clinic that has their act together and can give me timely and accurate information. If you are thinking about going to Dr. Howard, DONT.

STAFF WAS EXCELLENT. LOVED DR HOWARD WHEN I FIRST MET HIM . BUT HE WAS VERY VERY SHORT TEMPERED. DID NOT EXPLAIN MY CONDITION WELL. THEN HE SAID I THINK THIS IS WHATS GOING ON. GAVE ME PILLS AND SAID THERES NOTHING ELSE I CAN DO FOR YOU AND DISMISSED ME. I HAD DITICULITIS AND HERNIA IN MY THOAT. AS WELL AS IBS. . I MAYBE WOULD TRY HIM AGAIN. BUT WOULD NOT RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE ELSE....DOES THAT MAKE SENSE. ALSO AFTER RUSHING ME OUT OF THE ROOM SERVAL TIMES BY THE TIME I GOT IN MY CAR HE WAS IN HIS TRUCK DRIVING OFF. SMH.

Had nothing but a positive experience at Doctor Howards office. Had a colonoscpy done with surgery that was required. Staff was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this clinic to anyone with Gastric problems.

Absolutely love Dr. Howard...He has been my gastric doctor for several years and has always been professional and kind....I would recommend him to anyone and have already to several of my friends and they love him also....

This facility was the worst! No one ever answers the phone! We couldnt get anyone to call us back with our bloodwork results. The doctor was rude and short tempered. Do not recommend this place!!
