The Dr.s at this facility are wonderful, I would highly recomend them to anyone and everyone. Unfortunatley, the Office mgr. is another story all together. She is rude and how dare you expect her to do her job. My family have been using this facility for about 1.5 years. The convience is great and the Dr.s are wonderful. There were couple of times end of last year that I had issue with the office mgr. One Dr. Nolan (great guy and Dr) had seen my husband for knee injury, the xray tech at facility had gone home sick. Dr Nolan was sending us across to Hospital for xray, told us office mgr was setting it up and tell us were to go and when. he went out wrote script came back, we clarified she was to set it up and tell us when and where. Walked out to recpetion area, asked office mgr about this. She told us we needed to go to hospital for xray. I explained we understood that, but when and were at hospital. She comensed to giving me directions to hospital (which you can see from facility) in very sarcastic tone. I again asked for clarification on when and where at hospital telling her I knew where hospital was. She stated not her job to tell me where or when to go. We went to emergency and delt with all on our own. Resently I tried to make payment with them and same woman claimed she tried to run my card for the 195.00 pmt I had authorized and she claimed my HSA card was no good, so I sent check from HSA account. two days later she ran my card for 129.xx, which when they received check it overdrafted my account. the 129.xxx was never authorized to be ran. I have fought with this office and corporate office for 6 weeks now trying to get corrected, they continue to try to represent check costing me fees over and over again. Finally they realized the screwed up and are willing to correct the 129.xx and give me credit for it. they claim they are not responsible for fees, they did give me "credit" to clear the difference between 195.xx and 129.xx, which still does not cover cost of fees. They thought I should be greatful they gave me the difference, claiming it was for the inconvience and time. When I questioned the fees again I was told that was what the credit was for, not the inconvience. Which was it? GREAT DR.s / HORRIBLE BILLING AND PMT!! Recomend if using the facility to watch your pmts and billing very carefully. Actually I would just advise you to use different facility.

This place does not even deserve the one star I gave them. NEVER have I EVER been to such a horrible horrible place. This place closes at 6pm. "No appointment necessary" my ASS. I get here at 5:40pm, go in, fill out all the paper i need to, and wait patiently. I was the only patient in the building but for some reason, my insurance supposedly "would not go through". I have had the same, valid insurance for the past four years. I have been to this place MANY times. They have it on file, but somehow, after a half hour, it still isnt going through. After re-filling out paperwork and showing the front desk my insurance card, I get told that "The doctor has left for the day and will not answer our calls" after SEEING the doctor myself standing in the back room on his phone. This place cares NOTHING about its patients. DO NOT GO HERE.

The nurses are friendly and compassionate. Dr. Dennis is friendly and really takes the time to listen. Dr Head misdiagnosed my son last year with "a cold" that was the flu. I was told I had "a cold" when its obvious to me that allergies are the problem (since Ive dealt with this for forty years)but instead of leaving with any medications I left with an "I think you have a cold". I called today (less than 24 hours from my visit) asking if I could get the cough syrup dr Dennis prescribed in the fall for the same issues, which he understood to be allergies and I was told I would have to come back in for another visit. Dr Head is arrogant and pompous and rushes through his visits. Would not and will not go again unless Dr Dennis is in

I have never been compelled to right a review before but this experience was horrible. I took my friend whose heart rate was sky rocketing and wouldnt go down and the nurse was sooooooo rude with the worst bedside manner. She kept telling my friend to "calm down" and that it was all in her head. The doctor at least was somewhat pleasant. But they wouldnt even take her pulse without making sure they could charge her insurance. Meanwhile she was dizzy and passing out. She ended up at the emergency room and was diagnosed with a heart condition. You cant make that up in your mind or calm down a heart issue. Biggest waste of time, rude, obnoxious, money hungry senseless service.

I went here for a sore throat. Doc told me it was just allergies. They even called me the next day to see how I was. I said horrible and they were just like "oh well let us know if we can do anything" um excuse me I could barely talk of course you could do something. I went to the one closer to my appt the next day Bc I didnt trust his diagnosis they didnt even do a culture and gave me a shot and antibiotics saying it was strep. After 2 days of this not working I went to Care Spot. They ran different tests gave me a shot of steroids and a z pack I feel so much better and its only been 8 hrs. Do not go to American family care.

I walked in with flu-like symptoms and I had flu and strep test done and doctor wanted to clean my ears which was not the problem and now Im being billed for my ears being clean when I was sick if I knew all this I could have went home and save $50 and my insurance says copay is 30 in the front of my card and she only charged me 25 and now Im being billed for the other $5 and the portion my insurance didnt cover I just had a really bad experience going there and Im positive I will never go back if you go ask them if your insurance covers whatever little procedures they want to do on their own because they will not tell you

I came in on a Saturday due to pelvic pain, of course based on my symptoms the doctor could not pinpoint exactly what it was, he ruled out several things. So then I was ordered to take a ultrasound, the Dr said I could walk in, that was not the case, I needed an appt, so I come back then find out the test ordered had nothing to do where my pain was, it was a waste of my time, I didnt do the test, thinking they would rectify it while I was there, they did not. I tried calling them and I was put on hold, and I hung up, so I now have to take time off work again to see a different dr that knows what the hell they doing....
