If you are black the front desk does act a little differently toward you. Blacks know what I mean. Also I have been taking my 2 daughter here for about 5 years. I received a letter in mail "Certified". It stated that we were no longer wanted as their patient, and was thus being dis-continuing the doctor/ patient relationship. A very cold, out of no where letter. It is not because of insurance cause we have commercial cvg. They actually said to arrange for out Stuff like records to be sent to someone else promptly. Very cold. After I contacted them... which I feel was racially motivated- they the white office manager said we had a bill that had not been paid and that was the reason- only. I asked how cause we always pay the co-pay and fees at time of service. She said it was a bill for about $12 or $18 and was about 2 months old. All this; over this? They bill was not something I made or my family. My daughter had terminal cancer and social security order a copy of her records on their own without our knowledge. Fine, they send it to them and instead of charging it to them of giving it to them free- they decided since they didnt get it from them they would get it from us now. How Much Since Does This Make? Like I said... weather you are black or not- be aware. If you are black especially be aware.

My daughter had a irritation in her private area, Dr. Susan Langone(Not friendly, she repeatedly refused my daughters request to listen her heart) suggested that we use a cream(No pee test done). And when we were leaving, front desk wanted their office visit money paid right there, they didnt let us go, very awkward situation. Couple days later, My daughters symptoms got worse, so I had to take her to Tennessee Medicine and Pediatrics, they did a pee test, and found out that she had a urine infection, she was given antibiotics and got better in few days. Wrong diagnosis by an unfriendly Doctor, rude and inpatient staff, if you want the best for your family, this is the last place you want to take them to.

The staff was friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. The nurse taking my childs vitals was very kid friendly talking him through the procedures. Dr. Langone listened to what I had to say and asked questions to determine our next steps. Great visit.

My opinion of this office has gone from very good (years ago) to not very good at this point for a number of reasons. I wont be taking my kids there any more.
