Dr. McClintock is amazing. He is the only one I will make an appt with and is by far, the best one! The only problem I have ever had with this office is the contact fitting. It seems as if everytime I have gone in they do one and I dont know anything about it until the end when I go to check out. This past visit, I specifically said I did not want a contact fitting when I checked in. When I finished, I went to check out and the receptionist told me it was $40 for the fitting. I told her that I did not have one so she went and asked the assistant about it. The assistant told her that giving me a fresh pair of contacts is the fitting??? How is that a fitting when that has been done ever since I have been wearing contacts (10yrs+). Everytime my vision changes, they give me a new pair but now, its supposedly a "fitting". Back in the day, a fitting actually included the doctor or assistant working with you to see which brand of contacts feel the most comfortable, not just giving you a fresh pair. So, if people dont ask for a fitting, please do not give it to them. That is my only complaint. On a good note. The office is very nice and I absolutely adore the ladies in the optical store. They always gets me squared away when I need a new pair.

Very fancy and up to date facility. Receptionist was very nice and helpful. Technician seemed to be frustrated when I couldnt see thru the lens. Every frame was blurry to me.He had to wipe it twice cause I couldnt see. Im still unsure if it was my eyes or the lens. My disappointment comes from the doctor who didnt bother to check my vision. I am 40 years old and have worn glasses since I was 9 and Ive never been to an eye doctor that didnt check my vision after the technician. I understand having trust in your techs but if the doctor isnt going to examine you, then why see the doctor at all? I did call back to express my concerns but all I got was how the doctor trusts the tech and Im left waiting to see whether Ill be able to see out of my new glasses. It would have been nice if they offered to bring me back in for a proper eye exam. A prime example of how big business just wants to rush you in and out.

My husband and I have been patients of VisionFirst since it came to Edwards Lake Road. My husband has had major eye problems over those years. The latest was at the end of 2015 when the implanted lens from a 4 year old cataract surgery suddenly broke loose and started free floating in his eye. We went straight to VisionFirst and got quick attention. Both Dr. McClintock and Dr. Bearman determined that he needed to be referred to Callahan Eye Foundation where he had surgery to make the repair. We are thankful for the care we receive from VisionFirst and that they dont hesitate to refer to Callahan Eye Foundation when needed. The staff is efficient, caring and well trained. We dont think you could find a better group to care for your eyes.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR YOUR VISION NEEDS!!! I visited this place 5 weeks ago to get contact lenses and see if I was qualified for lasik surgery. During my experience they could not run some of their equipment for the Lasik test. Then, the nurse tried to get a rookie to run a test on me and she couldnt do it (I felt like a lab rat). After about 30 minutes of that, the doctor tested me for contacts. It has been 5 weeks and they have still not gotten back to me. I called them 2 weeks ago and they never returned my call. I called today and they had no request for perscription on file. These doctors have staffed their office with attractive fluzies who have no idea what they are doing. I repeat DO NOT GO HERE.

Well, where do I start, I have various serious problems with my eyes, from birth, but one of my main problems was VERTIGO , it kept me in bed for days, and I always dreaded when it hit me, anyways, I decided to have my eyes checked at VisionFirst, and to my surprise, not to mentioned happiness, a loadmof my chest, you name it, Dr. MACLINTOCK took care of my vertigo in one visit, mhe saw my problem right away, and he said that he would take care of it, anyways till today, I have yet to have another VERTIGO episode, Thanck you Visionfirst First for having such a professional doctor in your company, and thank you for the professional employees that makes what VisionFirst is today

I Love my Dr. McLintock,he really take time with me,he knows I hate to get my eyes check and dilated and check the pressure in my eyes,he is really patience with me,the office staff is nice, the turn around time in the office is much better now.I do wish that there optical shop, would lower they prices some ,five hundred dollars is a lot of money for one pair of glass, when their are places close by that sell there glasses and contact lenses so so so much cheaper,I Love Mrs.Kelly she is the Nices person in world, she will be miss ,when she retire...Can glasses get little cheaper,it would help me and other people with a control limited income.....Great Place *******

I highly recommend Vision First to anyone looking for a eye doctor. My son was 5 when he had an abnormality come up on a free vision screening at his pre-school. As a parent I wanted to get him to an eye doctor ASAP. I called around to several places and Vision First understood my concerns and got me a new patient appointment that week. Dr. Doss was able to diagnose my sons Amblyopia and immediately started an aggressive treatment to help us improve the issues. All along the way she has been wonderful. My son loves going to see her and as a parent she is great at explaining the treatment plan and her goals for my sons treatment to me.

I started to use their online appointment request tool to make an appointment, but it was not the smoothest tool to use. So I decided I would call to make my appointment and speak with someone to make sure things didnt get screwed up. I called and made an appointment for both my daughter and me. I had to miss work and check her out of school. I get there and they had no appointment on their schedule for either of us. Plus, the doctor was *over*booked so they could not fit us in. Very frustrating and disappointing. I will go somewhere else that is more competent.

I take my kids here, 2 of them wear eyeglasses.. They have a good decent selection of Medicaid approved glasses & a great variety of glasses for adults also, might have to pay but nice styles. The staff here is polite & helpful esp the ppl who work in the back (guess they are called technicians) but the doctor is by far the best part of the experience, we see Dr. Doss & she is THE best eye doctor ive ever seen.. Super good with kids so if your looking you wont be disappointed with your experience here. Thats my opinion, thanks! (:
