Dr. Coulter put me on oxycontin at 5 months pregnant. I became addicted to it, I told him and begged him for help. He refused to help wean me off of it, saying that withdrawal could harm my baby. Therefore, he kept me on OXYCONTIN for the rest of my pregnancy. I asked about methadone, he said "I am not a methadone doctor". I asked about methadone clinics, he told me that my pregnancy Medicaid would not pay for it. I told him i wanted to change doctors...he told me that it would be impossible for me to find another doc that would take me with my "pain management issues". Dr. Coulter promised to medically detox me after my son was born. He didnt do it and did not even want to discuss it when I asked. In the meantime, I had went to the Medicaid office to request assistance...they informed me that after 90 days with my chosen obgyn, I am not allowed to change doctors. Shortly after I gave birth to my son, Dr. Coulter completely cut off my scripts and refused any further contact. He wrote me one last large prescription of oxycontin, and that was it. See, my pregnancy Medicaid ran out and he had told me to find another doctor. Again, refusing to detox me as promised. Now DHR is involved and Im ordered into inpatient treatment...I FINALLY found a treatment center in GA to accept me with no insurance and no money. I was so excited! I show up at the treatment center at 5am, ready to go, but theres a problem...after being told to bring all the meds Ive been prescribed, I had packed my nebulizer, and this place will not allow nebulizers. (thanks to kids using them to get high somehow) Without a letter from my doc, stating that Ill be ok without it while there, (which I absolutely would have been at the time) Im not allowed in!!! I have to get in, to get off the pills that he put me on, in order to regain custody of my baby!!! Yet UNBELIEVABLY - DR. COULTER completely REFUSED to do it! He wouldnt even speak to me on the phone, I had to literally beg his receptionist to ask him. Dr Coulter was WELL AWARE how high the stakes were. I no longer have custody of my child because of Dr. Steven Coulters NEGLIGENCE.

I am a 23 year old who has had a hysterectomy 3 years ago. I am currently having difficulty in some areas. The gynecologists from the facility are suppose to come to Centre Alabama to Perry Medical group every Thursday . I have been cancelled on 2 times already and am currently waiting in the office to give them one more chance. They were suppose to be here 20 minutes ago. When I have been here before, a few girls and myself were furious after waiting here an hour past our appointment times and they finally told us that again they were not going to show up. I am about to start looking in Rome for a different, more punctual doctor! After reading reviews, I am probably just going to walk out. It would suit me better to give 0 stars instead of 1

Left this physician after being giggled at by the nurse who found my childs condition to be a joke! Back and forth for a full year & they had no clue who to call to get proper care for my child. Then wrote personal opinions in the childs records! Simply because they werent educated enough to use the internet & find legitimate doctors! The place we are at now is great and helped solve the issue which speaks volumes for this lazy location! Save your time & gas. Find a doctors office with people who care more about the child than the insurance check! Id put negative 5 stars if I could!!!!!

The waiting is horrible, then when you finally get to see the doctor, most of them speak and walk out, they dont give you answers, or even time to address the things that are important.. leaving you clueless. I have so many unanswered questions because of the rude doctors. My child should be first, especially after waiting for hours in the lobby. IMG needs more doctors like Dr. Coulter. He takes his time, and answers any and all questions. He is the best at IMG.

I really liked and appreciated my dr Dr Coulter, he spoke to me honestly, and professionally, the wait was awful, I left one time and had to call to reschedule, but then the next time I told them I did not have all day to wait, and asked if the doctor seeing patients and I went right in my niece who was also a patient at that group told me they were one of the few gynecologist groups in the area that accepts Medicare
