My experience started back in September of 2016 when I first moved to Auburn for graduate school. I had been thinking about getting an IUD for quite some time and decided to do it. Since I am on the graduate school insurance it was recommended that I head to Lee OBGYN. My first appointment was with Dr. Golden. I had done about 7 months of background research on the copper IUD and knew the risks of getting one. He pushed the hormonal IUDs on me, told me I would be in terrible pain and I would hate it and gave me a week to think about it and to come back in to get one inserted. When I came back in I was taken into the room and got ready for the insertion but when I told the him I wanted to paragard he said he wouldnt put it in because it would cause abortions. As a scientist I was appalled. Birth control PREVENTS pregnancy and I was shocked that a doctor who is currently practicing has this opinion. He preceded to shake my hand, wish me best of luck and call me "kiddo" on the way out, leaving me sitting there half naked with a sheet over me and stunned. Dr. Pittard ended up doing the procedure and was super professional. My experiences there have been fine since but this kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable. Your religious beliefs have no place in my health. If you dont care about having a secular and professional experience then by all means, go to Lee OBGYN.

I only went to change my birth control from the depo shot to pills. Sat in the doctors office and talked to him about other options and I made it clear that I only wanted the pills. He says to me "the ultimate way to prevent pregnancy is to KEEP YOUR LEGS CLOSED" I was speechless. So unprofessional. I am on birth control for my horrible long lasting periods and to prevent pregnancy (I am in a 6 year relationship but just dont want a child right now), but I am aware that keeping your legs closed does prevent pregnancy, way to state the obvious, now give me my pills you close-minded, unprofessional, "Doctor".

I loved my experience here! I felt like all the doctors were super kind, professional, and patient. When I had to bring my other babies with me to appointments they were kind and helped me. They always answered my questions and I never felt stupid for asking. The nurses and staff were kind and helpful too!

The nurses, ultrasound techs and doctors are so kind and helpful, never had to wait for than 10 minutes before I was called to the back. The only thing that needs help are some of the attitudes of the receptionist, they could be a lot more friendly.

Had a wonderful time during my first pregnancy and stuck with them, moved further away and still chose them for my second pregnancy! Never had an issue with wait times. Staff, nurses, and doctors are all very wonderful also!
