My mother-in-love is there right now for rehab. Wow, are our eyes are being opened. This is a business (as opposed to a care facility) that is all about the money. The physical therapist are caring and competent. Two or three of the RN/LPN/CN staff are professional and take pride in their job and a job well done. The rest, which is the majority, are flat out rude and incompetent. They are unfriendly, slow to respond, and seem unhappy to be there, and really displeased if asked to actually do their job and help beyond the minimum requirements. Please know that the night crew do nothing but gather at the nurses station and cut up and talk LOUDLY, with no consideration to patients trying to sleep. Weve learned that we as the family must stand in the gap. Lord help those patients that do not have some one with them more often than they are alone. You or a loved one need rehab therapy? Research all of your options. If you go with PHR, make sure you have very clear communication while with the on staff doctor, as he only visits once a week.

My grandmother was in the rehab, her insurance covered for 20 days. They were really nice and caring taking her in. Though when it was her 19th day & we finally went to someone saying that we knew her days were running short, what do we do when shes not improving & their response is pay 165$ a day or take her home. Me (teenager), being all she has, doesnt even make 165$ a day, and has never had any type of experience in changing diapers, caring for the elder & cannot afford 1000+ dollars a WEEK, having to take my grandmother home (after they were supposed to help her be better & they assured me 20 days should be enough time for simply being able to walk to the bathroom) Lets just say I was NOT a happy camper. NO ONE kept me informed on any progress, never did they have any type of meeting with me to let me know her progress. The nurses RARELY had a smile on their face. I will say the therapy people are the only understanding people I met there. Other than that MONEY is their main priority, not the patients!

Incompetent best describes Prattville Health and Rehab. The administration needs to be fired asap the main concern for this location is financial gain they do not care for their residents welfare. The staff from the RNs,CNAs, and other support staff are rude and condescending to the residents and are much to busy to do their jobs and provide care because they are chatting,eating, or talking on the phone. Ive had to go up there to change my loved ones diaper because they wouldnt do it. Also, the food they provide is terrible with portions smaller then an infant needs to survive . The cleanliness of the facility is disgusting if you need a place for your loved one please chose another location.

One of the worst rehab facilities Ive ever dealt with. They do not care about the individuals that live there. I rarely saw a smile on the nurses face. They went almost eight hours without even stepping in the room to check on my sick father. I wouldnt wish my worst enemy to have to stay at this place. Money is their top priority, not the individual person. If you are looking for a rehab facility for yourself or a loved one, get as far away from Prattville Health and Rehabilitation as you can.

My grandmother was a resident of Prattville Health and Rehab for about a year. During that time, the staff was always helpful and quick to help. She loved the staff and they loved her. They were always kind to our family and were there to comfort us. I do not believe my grandmother ever had a need that was not met by the staff. I do not hesitate when people ask for a nursing home or rehab facility recommendation to send them to Prattville Health and Rehab.

This is a wonderful facility. They have a brand new rehabilitation wing with private rooms and private showers. They were very kind to my loved one and did a great job of getting her up again. Great staff and great therapy team. Highly reccomended, take a tour and look around.

They have a brand new rehab unit with private showers and a great staff. The nurses aides are very sweet and very caring and took great care of my aunt. The therapy team is great as well and got her back on her feet very quickly and back home after her surgery.

This place is not a very good environment. They stole pain medication from my mother. The police dept wrote this up as theft of property second. they have taken this post down before so that they can hide this from the public but I will make sure this stays up.
