The dentist there are absolutely amazing which is why for half a year I stuck with them hoping billing could figure out how to properly do their jobs and submit claim correctly and in a timely matter but nope instead we had to keep calling over and over just to be asked if we could do their job for them and call insurance for them and yet they still couldnt figure out who would cover what...I feel like I should be getting reimbursed for doing their job for them and since its completely obvious that insurances would end up covering the complete cost there should be no reason why my childs teeth are getting worse and worse because no work has been done on him at all since he was seen in August! This should not even be a issue...when a child is hurting because of their teeth there should be no if ands and buts they should be seen right away and billing should be figured out later. And the parent should never ever have to be the one making all the phone calls, no parent should ever have to wait 6 months and have to be the ones constantly calling the office because no one ever bothers to call back and then when you to finally talk to someone they ask if you can do their job and call insurances for them. Love the dentists there but wish they would get some proper training for billing and processing department.

The day I took my daughter to this facility, the assistant was wonderful with a great positive attitude. When the D.D.S Shashi Kapur walked in he seemed to bothered by the fact that he was in there. You could tell his attitude was fake. Dr. Kapur was checking my daughter and was shaking severely with his hands which brought concern to me. My daughter had 4 cavities and the Dr. kapur seemed to be offended at the fact. After his analysis , he stated to me and the momma that it was important to floss. We stated that she did after every meal due to her not liking the feeling of food between the teeth. He then said it again. We repeated ourselves as well thinking he didnt hear us. He then said it 2 as if he didnt believe us. The assistant even became awkward and nervous due to Dr. Kapur behaving this way so she attempted to speak for him! I honestly wanted request another Dentist when I saw the shaking while his tools were in my kids mouth. Now that we were provided this embarrassing experience I will take my daughter elsewhere.

Extremely grateful to find this place after first moving here a year ago. The dental staff is great but Id say their hidden gem is the Orthodontics department. After the dentist suggested an Ortho consultation I surely thought id have to dig around the phone book but they offer an amazing convenience of having an in house Orthodontist, Dr. Choi. He was very detailed in explaining the work needed and his approach on how to correct it. He answers all of our questions and never makes us feel rushed. Not only was I blown away by the excellent work but the customer service is amazing. The last minute appointment turn around time is fast for occasions when my son needs bands replaced or is having wire issues. His staff makes us feel very welcomed. So much that my son counts down to go in to have his adjustments done on his braces. Dr. Choi and his staff have turned what most parents would think of the braces process as a nightmare into a walk in the park. Thank you AZ Pediatric Dentistry & Ortho for the amazing work you do.

The office staff was very nice on our first visit. Following that they were very difficult to deal with. During a need for emergency dental care for a child with special needs they were not supportive, caring or accommodating in any way and made it impossible to get help for the child. The supervisor/owner representatives initial call was not caring about the child only what staff had shared. He did make an attempt to get a new appointment but agreed this wasnt the best office for us. Our family was treated poorly here but not actually treated. I dont suggest this office for children with complex medical needs they are otherwise ok, although our family would never use or suggest them for anyone. We dont usually write reviews but felt others should be aware.

I was really impressed because I called yesterday and they were able to fit us in this morning. I expected them to be a few weeks out at the very least. We didnt spend much time in the waiting room, either. The facility is nicely decorated in an underwater theme (very relaxing) and kids can play console games or watch movies while waiting. The staff is friendly and polite and the dentist is really good with children. He had my daughter smiling and laughing practically the entire time. My only suggestion would be for the facility to invest in privacy screens for the computers for confidentiality reasons.

Ive been taking my daughter here for nearly 6 years, I really used to like the care we were given. The past few times, especially today, were awful. We arrived for our appointment about 25 minutes early, no biggie, I didnt expect to get in early. We waited an hour after our appointment to be called back, and we are still waiting RIGHT NOW to have my daughters teeth cleaned. There was no apology or anything as to why this happened. Very disappointed and I am definitely not coming back.

I called a week in advance to confirm appt. When I showed up they had cancelled our appt bc I didnt call the day before! How rediculous! People work! Nowhere on the card I received in the mail does it say they will cancel. It specifically says "this time is reserved EXCLUSIVELY for you. 48 hours notice is appreciated if you are unable to keep you appointed." How infuriating! I will never go there again.

I arrive 5 minutes  Late to my son appointment and the staff bothered.But it took them an hour to take care of my son.The second appointment I call to tell them that it would be late. They told me not to go to that clinic anymore and they were going to call my insurance company to stop taking care of me any more.They are rude and grocerous. They made me feel very bad

I have taken my kids here for Years, the doctors are so awesome, funny, and care so much about the care of my kids teeth. Last time i was in they had some sort of spirit day all dressed in 80s workout, they went all out hahaha. Theyre always so happy, which is hard to find. Not going anywhere anytime soon. Just thought id let you guys know youre great :)

Awesome place! Had a bit of a wait but it was a monday after school. They are great with kids and did a better job than any other place I have taken my kids. They even offered my son a special cleaning that I did not even know was possible. I will continue taking my kids there for years to come.

The guy sneezed on his hand so I looked to see if he washed his hands. Then he set up the mouth instruments. He would have successfully given my child his illness . Not professional and downright dangerous when dealing with little kids and germs. We left fast.
