My wife and I have been taking our daughter to the Pepka practice since she was born 4 years ago. My daughter absolutely loves Dr. Lisa Pepka, and even pretends to be her when waiting on her "sick" dollies. Dr. Lisa Pepka has a fantastic demeanor and knows how to put children at ease. It is evident that she is operating within her calling, rather than merely running a practice. Even getting her immunizations isnt a big deal. Shes not overly fond of needles, but the staff deliver all medicines so expertly she barely feels it. At our wellness checkups, she also has proactive tips and materials which we can reference to make sure our daughter is on the right track. The rapport and demeanor that Dr. Pepka has, is such that she can recall from memory where my daughter has been and the progress she has made, without needing to go back to the charts each time to "catch-up." I always have the sense that she knows and cares for my daughter as a person, rather than just another patient. The evidence of this heartfelt application to those in her care, is seen across the wall of the practice, which is lined with the postcards, christmas cards, and well-wishes of other patients. I am now shopping for new health insurance. One of my prerequisites to coverage is that the plan must include the Pepkas. Ill switch providers, but I will not switch this pediatric relationship.

I should have known better when I was told "you will get used to Irene" I have had constant negative run ins with her and have finally had enough of the abuse and am taking my child to another pediatricians office that knows how to take care of their patients. It started out with Irene being beyond rude to my husband when he had called to set up new patient paperwork, (but we gave them the benefit of the doubt and went to them any way) then she lied about submitting medications to our pharmacy then her saying in the rudest tone when I had asked about having the Dr call me about other medication options "Lets see what the Dr says since THEY went to medical school" and then abruptly hangs up on me. I was so shocked after that call... I have brought these issues among many other concerns to the Drs attention and they were unwilling to do anything about it, and said that they have talked to her ... but obviously that hasnt changed anything for the better.. When I had told the Dr that I was disatisfied and wanted my childs file mailed to me so I could go to a new pediatrician she said to have the new pediatrician fax a form over and that "you gotta do what you gotta do if its what you feel is best for your family" umm really? Glad they care about their patients!

I highly recommend both Dr. Albert Pepka and Dr. Lisa Pepka. I began going to this practice in 2010 when my son was born. I met with Dr. Albert Pepka before my son was born. Quickly during that conversation I knew I had found the best pediatrician. I now have 3 children that I take to this practice. I am so thankful that I found pediatricians that are so knowledgeable and caring. During both office visits and phone calls, these doctors take the time to thoroughly discuss your child’s health. I have never felt rushed during any discussions I have had with them. I have been referred to multiple specialists and have had positive experiences with the doctors they have suggested. The nurses and office staff are great! Eileen is very helpful and friendly. On multiple occasions I have been flustered and anxious when I have called due to one of my children being sick. Just hearing Eileen’s voice begins to put my mind at ease because I know my children will get the best care from everyone there.
