This vet is an EXCELLENT choice...Dr. Cyphers absolutely and most definitely saved my cats life--brought her back from the dead even. Heres my story: Maggie, my 5 year old rescue cat, was lethargic and stopped eating. I took her into Stanton Animal Hospital where they tested her and told me that shed eaten something poisonous and there was a 30% chance that shed survive. For 4 days straight they pumped her with fluids until she looked like she was about to pop. At some point during her back and forth to Stanton, she came down with a bronchial infection and started breathing with her mouth open. Finally, they told me that while her alarming numbers had gone down, she was probably going to die anyways, "because she was old." They sent me home with her and told me to try to force feed her. I went to Family Pet for a second opinion. Dr. Cyphers fit me in right away and began an antiobiotic and antidieuretic course of action along with acupuncture. Maggie responded slowly and we werent sure if she was going to pull through. A few days later we planned for Dr. Cyphers to come to the house and most likely put Maggie to sleep. We decided to try acupuncture as a final resort. Maggie leaped up from where she was lying on a chair, walked across the room, and slept on the couch for about 24 hours straight. She made a FULL RECOVERY. It was like Lazarus rising from the dead. This woman is not only a miracle worker, she is kind, very specific, and cares deeply about both pet and owner. I would recommend her to anyone anywhere and I will never return to Stanton Animal Hospital ever again.

Ive been taking my two small dogs to Dr. Cyphers clinic for several years now. The quality of care and personal attention to my dogs is great! One of my dogs has had to have two knee surgeries because of a congenital issue that made her prone to patellar luxation. She also had to have hip surgery. All of these procedures were done by Dr. Cyphers with outstanding results and improvements to my dogs health. Dr. Cyphers took such great care of her and kept us up to date with pictures during her first surgery when she kept her overnight for observation. The other two times she didnt need to be observed over night. My smallest dog does not like strange people and makes it difficult for any veterinarian to take care of her. Dr. Cyphers and her staff are very patient and gracious and accommodate my little ones antics. I feel that my dog couldnt be better taken care of anywhere else. I highly recommend this place. They are very knowledgeable as veterinarians and also very compassionate and attentive.

I have never been a pet mama before, but we recently added a puppy to our family! I went to google to search reviews for best vets around town and found Family Pets Vet Care. Our relationship started one late evening (and several more days and evenings after that initial one) with so many questions! And to my surprise, they got back with me rather quickly, like within the hour at 11 at night! They never told me to make an appt to get questions answered or seemed annoyed, they just answered and told me if I had any other questions dont hesitate to contact them (and I did, a new pet mama to what we thought was a 8wk old, was really only 4-5wks!). We made an appt with them and went in, the nicest people I have met around here! They genuinely care about your pets, they are gentle and really nice. I highly recommend them to anyone around here! You will NOT be disappointed!

I have an older dachshund who is prone to back problems. I recently had an out of town trip planned and was planning on taking my dog. On the day I was leaving Oscar had a severe problem with his back. I was able to get him in at Family Pets Veterinary Care and they took fantastic care of him. The vet examined him and determined where he was hurting. She then prescribed pain pills and muscle relaxants and within a couple of hours Oscar was ready to travel. Oscar, being an older dog, has several ailments. The vet, while recognizing the conditions, did not pressure me to have him treated for them. She did not try to push dental treatment or back surgery. I certainly appreciated the treatment she gave Oscar and she will be his doctor from now on.

Dr. Viki Cyphers is one of the best veterinarians I have ever known. She treats my babies and others as if they are her own. Her staff, Morgan Cyphers and Cassandra Barron, are extremely knowledgeable and gentle with all kinds of critters. Although "Dr. Viki" has practiced for more than 25 years, she and her staff continue to go to great lengths and expense to learn the latest in veterinarian medicine and related techniques in order to provide the best care to their patients in a extremely competent and caring fashion. I would and do highly recommend Dr. Viki Cyphers and the staff at Family Pets Veterinary Care for those individuals that consider their pets "family" and want them cared for as such.

I was referred to Family Pets Vet clinic by a co worker when i adopted a dog. Our initial visit was for a "well" check up and get acquainted visit. It was a great experience and I felt the vet took all the time she needed to thoroughly check over my dog and then review her findings and took time to answer any questions I had. She was thorough and I never felt rushed. I made a second appointment to address a couple of issues found during his first visit. That too was a great experience both professional and friendly ( to both me and my dog;) This is now my permanent choice for my dogs care and I would highly recommend this clinic and vet to anyone. Dr. Viki Cyphers is wonderful with our dog, a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Bella. Bella loves coming to the office for her check ups and acupuncture sessions. Dr. Cyphers was extremely knowledgeable about Bellas hip problem. She performed the surgery when the time came and was there for us every step of the way. We trust Dr. Cyphers and her staff completely to care for our dog. The offices are also very nice. We are very lucky to have such a high quality and personalized veterinary service here in Fayetteville.

Wonderful. Calm and peaceful clinic (which is great for my dog!), friendly staff and caring doctor. Dr Cyphers spent more time than she had to getting to know my pet and myself. She also helped my dog immensely with his anxiety and has made him happier and healthier since his adoption from a local shelter. Go see Dr Cyphers- you will not be disappointed!! (Side note: this a WONDERFUL local family who supports and loves Fayetteville. They are truly local and I am happy to support them in their business!)

Family Vet Vet Care is a special place. Operated by a mom and son team, Dr Viki Cyphers and Morgan practice wholistic, naturalistic pet care. I thought my cat, Taz, was dying but Dr Cypher performed a surgery removing his thyroid and hes back to his cantankerous self. Recently, Dr Cypher and Morgan supported me through the painful process of helping my beloved dog Fergie pass on. This isnt just a business...this calm, thoughtful duo care deeply for their human and pet clients and its felt by all.
